'This property was a lot of fun to stay at. It’s a charming, rustic two story cottage with plenty of room for the 10 of us traveling together. It’s 5-10 minutes from Ellsworth and 45 minutes from Acadia. We really enjoyed our time there. Our host, Jon, was great. 'The property is outstanding, the house has a great layout, and the hosts had everything you could possibly need available. They even had things like a portable high chair and pack n play available for anyone who might travel with little guests and a little dog bed and dog dishes for anyone with a smaller dog. 'We couldn’t have asked for a better place to relax for our first trip to Maine. The bed was so comfortable and the house was spotless and perfectly appointed. Our dogs are so thankful they were welcomed, too. We can’t wait to come back!'

'We enjoyed a couple of nights in this charming home. The beds were comfy and the kitchen was a nice size for preparing meals. We relaxed by the fire and enjoyed the view of the lake. All 4 of us are coffee and wine drinkers so a larger coffee pot and at least 4 wineglasses would have made it perfect.'

'The overall house was very nice. It was very clean, neat and organized. Our two complaints would be the road to the house was very desolate and full of ruts and very large holes. The water coming out of the faucets smelled awful. It had a very high sulfuric odor. It also came out dark gray when the faucet was first turned on. We had to let it run for awhile. The water that was supposed to be filtered tasted terrible. We ended up buying bottled water.'

'Four humans and one dog stayed at the BRH while in town for a canoe race! The house was welcoming and perfectly clean. Plenty of towels, blankets and a kitchen stocked with appliances that we cooked in. Nice neighborhood for dog walks and easy to get to grocery stores! Check in and out process was seamless and everything was accurately represented! Would certainly highly recommend!!'

'We came to Maine to experience the life along Maine’s coast- we picked this VRBO because of price, location, and the beauty of the home - the owner responded to our text’s quickly - we had no big issues with the property- and the handbook and email’s explained everything we needed to know. Was a wonderful trip- we went to Bucksport, Belfast, Camden and Acadia National Park.'
