'The Occidental Lodge is a very charming, old-school lodge that is well-maintained and absolutely spotless. My favorite part was that there were no smells at all in the room, which I loved!The lodge is located in a tiny, quiet town that I would describe as a micro-country town. If you are planning a weekday stay, just keep in mind that the only things open are a little market and a breakfast café that closes at 3:00 PM. All of the other little restaurants nearby are only open Friday, Saturday,...

'Our room was very nice, clean, and roomy. The surrounding area was well kept, and surrounded by lush and beautiful landscaping. There were plenty of places to walk our dogs, and overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We anticipate many returns. A great big thank you to all the staff. My only suggestion is to add a microwave to the rooms.'

'Going back in time!! Very friendly staff. A great place to stay! Not the modern stuff, no TV at the room! WiFi is ok. Just one hour away from SF. And an whole other world! Like going back to the 60ies!!'

'Mi è arrivato un messaggio dalla struttura chiedendomi di fare il check in on line, mi è stato addebitato sulla carta 1$ (due volte per due tentativi) mai andati a buon fine. Non sono riusciti a darmi spiegazioni. Non fatelo. Colazione gestita esternamente “predefinita” tutto l’extra si paga (anche se scontato). Camera pulita e spaziosa.'

'Only negative is the third bed was not made and we had only 2 sets of towels. After asking we tot the art of towels and linnen but had to make the bed ourself'

'I actually love this property , having enjoyed the spa many times and its facilities. However the front office staff is in need of hospitality training . On two different occasions I’ve had incidents and concerns with privacy and disturbances.. I had asked a manager to get back to me and I’ve never received any feedback on either situations .. I got more of a it’s a “you” problem than any support or assurances..'
