'Buffet is lackluster and rooms were not very clean'

'It was quiet with an attentive, but inflexible staff. My wife and I wanted a room with a private onsen and this hotel was the only one in the entire area. We booked it through Expedia, but when we arrived we were told that all of the rooms had been taken, EVEN THOUGH WE HAD RESERVED ONE. We even checked in soon after the first available check-in time.

'Breakfast and buffet dinner were amazing. Had a lot of options even for someone who doesn’t eat fish. The steak station was great. Gelato, ring cake and melon for desert. Breakfast had omelettes, berries, lots of breads and jams options.'

'The Japanese style rooms are such a fun experience and the buffet breakfast AND dinner are amazing. The Onsen is beautiful '

'This is a great property in a fabulous location near Lake Toya. The villa is spacious with all amenities for summer and winter with a fabulous outside spa bath. Good view of the lake from large balcony and access to many activities and sites around the lake. Quiet neighbourhood.'
