Well it is a good value overall. Staff was very nice, room was considerably clean, everything was in working condition. But i had issues with check out. When i booked it said 3pm checkout, but when i reached there it was 12 noon check out.

We always enjoy our stay at the Holiday Inn Ottawa East. The staff are great - especially the restaurant staff. The beds are so comfortable that we tried to find out how we could buy one for our home (we failed). The only tiny thing is the front sidewalk covered in cigarette buts from the slobs who would not use the receptacle the hotel provided.

The property is not well maintained. One elevator was perpetually out of order. They dont provide water in the rooms, nor do they inform you of that when you are checking in. So if you are driving down for 4-5 hrs...make sure to ask for water bottles while checking in. Otherwise youll have to make a trip downstairs all the way to the lobby to get water. They dont even have service to g8ve it you in your room. The room phone is for decoration, noone picks up when you call reception regardless of the time of day. Cleanliness of the washroom was bare minimum considering it is supposed to be an IHG accredited hotel. Breakfast again is quite rudimentary, same everyday. Given the other Holiday Inns I've stayed over the years, this one is the least impressive.

I stayed two nights at this hotel. Check-in was quick and the staff was courteous. My room was spacious and clean. The hotel is within walking distance to a restaurant and to the mall. It is also a short drive to the hospital. I enjoyed my stay and will be going back.

Stayed for a week for work. Breakfast is the same every day and overpriced for what you get. Supper is a little creepy in a large empty room. Heating system is loud and blows a strong current of air against your face. No pen, paper, or even hotel info brochure in the room. Nothing to do around the hotel. Serves the purpose if all you need is to sleep. Safe was a good touch.

It’s the second time I’ve stayed here. Everything is amazing but the staff have made us feel unwelcome both times. We tried a second time hoping it was a fluke but now as much as we love the hotel the location and the pool we likely won’t come back.

Positief: Netheid, personeel en service en staat van de accommodatie en faciliteiten
Very nice staff and room very clean. Actually very impressed with bathroom lighting (women would understand). The only downside was there was very limited parking available due to snow banks otherwise very satisfied and would recommend.
