'Had a four day break with parents, the cottage was spotless on arrival and well equipped. The wifi was occasionally sporadic but to be expected in a rural area. We slept well with no passing traffic and even with four adults there was ample hot water.Lots of seating and although weather was poor the outside seating area was great . Small downside was the property can be rented alongside next door(semi detached) , there is a locked interconnecting door but the noise can carry through a little .'

'Very good weekend away was somewhat spoiled by noisy neighbour above our bedroom banging around for an hour at midnight and again at 4.30am. Otherwise very good indeed.'

'This is an amazing property………Classic somerset cottage equipped with all modern conveniences. Super quiet (well a few tractors collecting the harvest!). We all slept very well. It takes 30 mins to walk into Ilminster along a country trail past Dillington Hall for those that like a good walk. About 8 mins by car. We made day trips to the Haynes motor museum (amazing if you are a car buff…..some days they bring cars out of the museum and you can ‘poke around’ at them) and to Lyme Regis, which has...

'Der Zugwaggon ist wirklich eine sehr besondere Unterkunft. Uns hat es sehr gefallen. Die Einrichtung ist mit Liebe zum Detail. Es war sehr sauber und alles vorhanden was man im Urlaub benötigt. Leider war die Klospülung meistens nicht zu stoppen und ist permanent nachgelaufen. Der Waggon ist wirklich sehr schön, benötigt aber dringend eine Restauration, vor allem die Fenster. Die Lage ist sehr schön und ruhig, wenige Minuten zum Strand. Ein paar mal am Tag fährt ein schöner alter Zug vorbei....

'Spent the weekend here with friends for my birthday. Really lovely place, large and spacious...looks better than it did in the pictures. We loved the large kitchen and conservatory. It had all the amenities one would need. The property managers were very responsive via email and text. Our only let down was that the hot tub had broken down.'

'House looked great from the front, less so by the side door. It took a while for us all to find our way around on the ground floor, a lot of doors off a long corridor!The lounge furniture and beds were very comfortable, and the kitchen was well equipped. We all enjoyed our stay and very much hope to stay here again, after all it is in the heart of our favourite part of England! '
