The Travelodge was a simple property and I did not need much. However the WIFI would only work half of the time, despite the Manager re-setting the hotel router. The bathroom sink would not drain water well. The television remote control had channel cursor buttons to go either up or down, but only the up cursor worked. But after staying four nights, on my fourth night, I had a terrible issue with one of the front desk clerks. I always request an extra additional hour for a late check out from 11:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. just in case I need it for whatever reason, and when I called down to the front desk, I was surprised when the response was simply, "Ahhhh, no". I immediately went down to the front desk to discuss as I had never received a "no" response. The front desk staffer kept reciting hotel policies, and then I began telling him that the late check out is more or less a universal hotel principle, but he had not even provided me a valid reason as to why he was saying no. He then continued to cut me off several times, and was arguing with me that the late checkout is not a universal principle. Our argument began to escalate, and then he began raising his voice with me, and I told him he was out of line. He wouldn't stop at that point, and I turned around, and went to my room and immediately documented the event with Wyndham. I had never experienced such a situation in all of the years I have stayed at hotels.
