'Sleeping arrangement and location was perfect for our trip. The host was extremely accommodating and helpful before and during our stay. Since we took the train into town we needed to drop our luggage off early. The host allowed us to do so. The housekeeper was there so we made sure to be quick and place it where it was not in their way. Housekeeping was very friendly and did a great job! We will definitely keep this place in mind when we make our next trip!'

'My family visited Hillsborough and stayed at this location over Christmas 2023. They were VERY impressed with the location, size, and cleanliness of the home. The only complaint they had was that the fridge was not working. However, they were able to use the outdoor fridge to keep all their perishables cold and the owners did offer to buy ice, which was not necessary. The owners were also very responsive to my emails. Definitely recommend and would stay here again!'

'We had our family of 8 adults for a weekend of fun for a Duke Basketball game. The house was amazing! Kitchen is well stocked, plenty of linens. The host communicated promptly and often about questions we had. The neighborhood was quiet and the beds were so comfy - we slept tight! Coffee bars were awesome and decor was amazing - loved added touches like string lights hung around fence and patio which gave a beautiful ambience for a happy hour wine time. 'This property was a wonderful stay for our family. It was indeed a gem for our family. The piano and air hockey table was a hit for my son! It was a very comfortable stay. I will be staying here again for sure when visiting the area. It's a nice neighborhood, and felt very safe here! The owners of this property was prompt with communication.'

'Great cottage feeling, within a 10 min walk to downtown Durham. Very comfy couch, which in addition to the chilly weather during my stay made it a little hard to get out into the cold. But Durham was well worth it, and returning to something cozy was the cherry on top.'

'This property was a great location and home base while touring Duke and UNC. The property had everything we needed, lots of space and comfortable beds. As stated, it is located off a busy road which may be difficult for a light sleeper. There are noise machines provided in the bedrooms. Host is very easy to reach and accommodated our needs.'

The area where this home is located I believe is a poorer area that that is starting to be gentrified into a much more appreciated space. Felt safe and cozy inside the home. Businesses around close a bit sketchy. Absolutely would stay again because you are near a lot of things and the home was exceptional.'

'The unit is very cute and well equipped. It’s conveniently located not far from Duke and Durham’s downtown area. We enjoyed delicious bagels at Isaac’s and had a great meal at Grub Durham - both just a few blocks from the unit. Overall the area is quiet with the only real exception we experienced being one night a neighbor had a loud party until 2:00 a.m.'

'The house is great, there is a thing with the water getting a sulfur smell but the owner said to let water run for awhile and it fixed it on up and we didn’t have any more problems during our stay.'
