It is dated, not luxury, but fine for our purposes, and cost is reasonable. Beware some rooms are up a lot of stairs after walking up a steep driveway to reach the property.'

'I was visiting Abertawe for one night to see old friends and this was a great place to stay. Perfectly located in the heart of the city and just a short walk away from some great restaurants. The room had a luxury quality to it like the coffee machine and plump bathrobes. My only critique was the curvy headboard wasn’t very comfortable (I move around during the night and kept hitting my head on it!). 'Newly renovated very nice room in the coach house. Staff were outstanding throughout, very helpful friendly and polite. Evening meal and breakfast were excellent, again with great staff members. Only reason it doesn't get 5* is the sauna was out of action in the spa and the pool is quite small'
