'Hotel was very clean and staff was friendly. Pinball room was cool. My 4/5 rating is because they emphasize that they are dog friendly but there was no place on or around the property to safely take our dog for potty breaks. Front desk staff directed us to a park 4 blocks away! If you know downtown Portland, you know that’s not a safe option at night. 'I was underwhelmed with this hotel. It is under construction right now, so the lobby layout is confusing and feels very cramped. Our room layout was fine and it was clean, but the bathroom was the smallest I have ever seen. The bathroom door was a pocket door that did not go all the way to ground, thus providing very little privacy. The location is great, but this was billed as one of the nicest hotels in Portland and overall felt very mid-range. '
