"This hotel is truly beautiful — Art Deco style, full of character and soul. The lobby is stunning, and the corridors feel like they transport you to a different era, with elegant marble floors… It could easily be a museum. It’s located downtown, and many sights are within walking distance. The subway and bus stops are also nearby. Our room was clean, the bed was comfortable, but the bathroom could use renovation. However, it’s a large hotel, and that comes with some downsides. There was a long queue for both check-in and check-out, as not all service desks were staffed. We stayed for four nights, but had to downgrade our room because it still wasn’t ready — even at 5 PM. There was no refund, and as compensation we were offered a free breakfast, which turned out to be just for one day. Very disappointing. Upon check-out, the bills I received showed additional charges of $352.26 for taxes and parking. However, my credit card was charged a total of €495.88 — significantly more than expected. I sent multiple messages via Expedia, but the hotel never responded. Since I was traveling through the U.S., I didn’t have the time to call and follow up properly. I sincerely hope the hotel will look into this and respond accordingly."

" My cousin and I had a fantastic stay at The Hoxton in Chicago during the period of christmas and new year's ! The service was impeccable—attentive, friendly, and truly made us feel welcome. Our room was stylish, comfortable but also wonderfully quiet, as per our request, offering a stunning view of the city skyline. The hotel’s on-site rooftop bar is top-notch, and the location made it easy to explore other great spots nearby. We highly recommend The Hoxton for a perfect blend of comfort, style, and convenience in Chicago!"
