'If you're looking for peace, this is where to find it. Hard to believe it is only two hours from Sydney. Highly rate resting in the hammock with a good book and looking out over those incredible ever-changing views. And morning coffee at the table on the main deck - wow. Plenty of kangaroos, wallabies and birdlife. Even had a lovely visit from a herd of little goats that clamber all over the vertical cliff faces. Loved the pool on a very hot day, the star gazing at night and the mists swirling...

We enjoyed beautiful walks to see the cattle, admiring the stunning view, nights by the outdoor fire and playing tennis with the family. '"Whisky Creek" was a lovely place to stay and very well located. Kangaroos grazed nearby in the early morning and at dusk, we enjoyed toasting marshmallows in the fire pit, and the house was excellent for our family of three generations.'

'The property was large and spacious. Lots of natural light. However, the heating in the entire property was poor. Some rooms had no heating at all and the temperature at night dipped to 5C - not pretty. Hot water in the bathrooms was also a major problem. On our second morning- there was no hot water. We found spiders in the jacuzzi and several other creepy crawlies throughout the property. And finally it was like a treasure hunt to find the rubbish bin on the property. Despite all our efforts...
