SCHONE en SERENE milieuvriendelijke privé cottage!

  • Prive huisje, prachtige 720 m² een slaapkamer, een volledige keuken, badkamer, ruime woon / eetkamer. Overdekte Lanai met gas grill, terras zitplaatsen, overdekt prieel met hangmatten en hangende stoelen. Gunstig gelegen vlak bij de beroemde kustlijn van de 'Red Road'. In de buurt van eerdere lavastromen en oceaanavonturen, gemeenschapsevenementen, markten en het schilderachtige dorpje Pahoa. Dit is absoluut de schoonste plek die je zult vinden voor je Puna-vakantie!

    Schoon, privé, rustig wonen terwijl je het Puna-district van Big Island vanuit het Kalapana-gebied verkent: lava bekijken, walvissen en dolfijnen spotten tijdens de wintermaanden, boottochten en nog veel meer! Energiezuinig huis. Korte afstand tot de muziek van oom Robert op woensdagavond en de boerenmarkt van Maku`u op zondagochtend. Bezoek het schilderachtige dorpje Pahoa voor winkels en restaurants. Op 5 minuten rijden ten zuiden op de Rode Weg ligt Kalapana, waar de weg eindigt bij de lavavelden. Daar vindt u het Kalapana Café en de Kava Bar van oom Robert, evenals begeleide lavawandelingen en een pad over de lavavelden naar het nieuwe strand.

    NIET ROKEN op het terrein is een strikt beleid ~ prima om een korte wandeling naar het nabijgelegen park te maken om te roken.

    Dit is een gehost, hoofdverblijfplaats vakantieverhuur. Hoofdwoning van de eigenaar voor 24/7 service. Cottage is volledig prive.

What a cool little cabana. It has everything you need, and we really enjoyed the jungle like setting with all the beautiful plants and geckos serenading us each evening. Marylove has gone to great lengths to make this a special place to stay.

We absolutely loved our stay here!! Mary-Rose was a friendly and helpful host who was happy to give us our space but also happy to chat or give recs when needed. The space was beautiful and clean and there were thoughtful amenities provided like ear plugs for the coquis. When we go back to the Big Island, we will be staying here again!!

Our stay at this VRBO cottage was absolutely magical. It had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing 4-night stay. We especially loved the back outdoor area—it was the perfect place to unwind while listening to the coqui frogs each evening.The bed was very comfortable, and we slept great every night. As a bonus, getting to witness episode 45 of Kīlauea during our visit made the experience even more unforgettable.We would definitely stay here again!

We had no idea this cottage would be so lovely and serene! It was close to most things that we wanted to see although I would have been just as happy to chillax around the property. It was super clean and I miss the drinking water already. MaryRose is an awesome host.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay and would happily return. The cottage was spotless, quiet, and incredibly comfortable. While many vacation rentals end up being just a place to shower and sleep, we found ourselves genuinely enjoying spending time here. The covered patio became our favorite spot, and we spent almost every evening relaxing outside.The air conditioning and ceiling fans kept the cottage comfortable even on the warmest evenings, which was much appreciated. The kitchen was well equipped, the bed was comfortable, and the entire property felt peaceful and private.The location was ideal for exploring Puna and the Red Road area, but honestly, the cottage itself became part of the vacation. It was a pleasure to come back to each day. If you're looking for a clean, serene, and thoughtfully maintained place to stay on the Big Island, this is it. Highly recommended!

We really enjoyed the stay, the place was well furnished and decorated tastefully. It also included many appliances and thoughtful additions that made it an easy place to stay.We had one issue with the key not working to lock/unlock the place - once our host was informed she was on it and had it handled immediately. Great response.

When I stay in places like this it makes me wonder why anyone would ever want to stay in a hotel . Mary Rose has created a lovely piece of paradise for all who stay with her. The entire backyard is yours to relax in! I particularly enjoyed reading in the swing.The bed is very comfortable and having a washer and dryer available to use was huge for us as we were running out of clean clothes to wear after being on the island for 2 weeks. The pictures do not do this space justice- it is a very large comfortable space! We truly enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend it to anyone looking to stay in this area!

A fabulous oasis

Mary love has created a fabulous oasis from which to explore the Puna district. The attention to detail was fantastic; everything we thought of needing was thoughtfully provided by our host. We would highly recommend staying here!

Dream Honeymoon Cottage

Staying here was the highlight of our honeymoon trip to Hawai 'i. The host Ms. Love did an excellent job presenting the cottage and making it feel like a home away from home! The cottage was gorgeous had everything we needed and more! Would come again and would definitely recommend!

Relaxing in paradise!!

This cabin is exactly as described and more!! The cabana in back is amazing for lazy coffee mornings!! Bed is so comfortable!! Highly recommend!

Peaceful and spacious

Location is great for getting away with a short walk to the ocean for sunrise/sunset views. There is a drive into town for grocery/gas etc. but a beautiful area to visit.
