  • Welkom bij Kai Malie, een heerlijke vakantie thuis! Deze comfortabele woning ligt aan de oostkant van het Big Island. Word wakker en grijp je koffie en loop 10 minuten naar 2 parken aan de oceaan om de zonsopgang te zien en naar walvissen te kijken!

    Er zijn tal van avonturen in de buurt. Ga naar het schilderachtige stadje Pahoa, waar u een aantal geweldige restaurants en winkels met veel aloha-spirit zult vinden.

    Nationaal park Volcano ligt op 68 km afstand. Plan om een dagje te verkennen.

    Reis naar Hilo voor watervallen zoals Rainbow, Akaka en Peepee. Bezoek het Pacific Tsunami Museum, het Lyman Mission House, het Imiloa Astronomy Centre. Zie wat er te zien is in het Palace Theatre. Pick-up van verse producten, ambachten en souvenirs op Hilo Farmers Market. Er is ook een golfbaan in Hilo en verschillende zwemstranden. Bezoek Richardson Beach, Coconut Island en de prachtige Queen Liliuokalani-tuinen.

    Reis langs de kust van Hamakua naar de uitlopers van de Waipio-vallei en stop zeker in Honokaa-stad om speciale artikelen uit Hawaii te kopen en natuurlijk ijs te scheren!

    Neem een dag en reis naar de West Side. Kajak in Captain Cook Bay, neem een surfles, bezoek de toevluchtsoord. Er wachten ook verschillende prachtige witte zandstranden op u.

    De woning is uitgerust met kabel-tv, blu-ray / dvd-speler met internetverbinding, een aantal dvd's en boeken. Bad, theedoeken en beddengoed zijn aanwezig. De keuken is goed gevuld met alle keukengerei, servies en apparatuur om uw maaltijden te bereiden. Er is een gasbarbecue en tuinmeubilair. very nice and comfortable house in a quiet neighborhood. i enjoyed the wall decorations and books and helpful messages. there were all the necessary beach accessories. pahoa town was good business with market and eateries. i really enjoyed puna poke & grill, priced like any other poke but better quality and more choices. while walmart in hilo was cheaper for some things they didn't always have more choices. kta in hilo has always been a good place to shop.

Very beautiful home but was a very long and confusing place to find. far from Where I wanted to be for sure. Over all Nice place to relax but terrible area to be. Mahalo for a comfortable home while I was in Hawaii.

Host was very responsive to some issues we had. Home is in a nice location, very close to the ocean where we could watch the sunrise each morning. Kitchen had all we needed. Nice grilling area for dinner with the provided grill.No ants or cockroaches, the geckos take care of bugs.Worth the price.

Very quiet, clean home. Needed to get away from the chaos of life and got just that. Beautiful neighborhood for a walk. Highly recommend driving Goverment Beaches rd.

Always a great stay here .I’ve stayed a couple times here now and would love to come back .Home is perfect for my needs . If the surf is up you can hear the waves crashing at night .

We enjoyed our stay immensely. This property is very clean, quiet and has everything needed to make the most of our time on the Big Island. The hosts are great, very welcoming and quick to respond to any questions we had.

Fabulous Home Away From Home!

We stayed here for a week, and were very happy to see that the house was just as wonderful as it was advertised to be. It was very,clean, homey and had everything we needed. We would love to return for a stay in the future!

We really enjoyed staying at this property. You could hear the ocean from the porch and the coqui frogs sound beautiful at night. There are little gecko's on the porch which was so much fun. The property is located in a great place where you can get to major tourist attraction without having to travel to far by car. There is a grocery store less than 10 minutes away and the bigger town Hilo is only about 30 minutes where there is lots of shopping and dining. The house itself has what it needs. The beds are super comfy which was nice. We did wish there was a little bit more outdoor furniture as we sat outside every night but we just got one of the folding chairs out of the shed and that worked for us. If you are looking for quiet but still close to things, this is the place

Exceptional Property

We stayed for two weeks while visiting family. The house and property were well maintained. The owner was very communicative and helpful during our stay. The neighborhood was nice and felt safe. We would definitely stay again.

We enjoyed Kai Malie, walking the neighborhood was both relaxing and beautiful. Our uncle lives in Pahoa, so this was a perfect location for meeting up with him and having our own personal space. The house was comfortable and inviting, with adequate cooking facilities and plenty of room to relax. Rochelle & Ted were quick to respond to questions/issues. We enjoyed our stay and would return.

Great Stay

We loved our stay at this location. Traffic from Hilo was a little tuff but the house was wonderful. Super quiet, beautiful back yard and great interior. Plenty to do around town and a great price. Mahalo.

The house was just as advertised. We were pleasantly surprised that there were condiments and other household items available which cut down the cost for our own meal prep. I left some items for the next guests as a courtesy. There were plenty of towels and toiletries although we ran out of toilet paper and ended up using the kleenex boxes in the home. We lost power for just a few hours due to the ongoing storm but overall, I would rent again. Thank you! Lisa

Perfection

Everything was wonderful and so many thoughtful details really made our stay special. We live on island and needed a little getaway. The location is ideal, it is a quiet neighborhood, the house feels like a real home. Can only recommend.
