Welkom bij Kai Malie, een heerlijke vakantie thuis! Deze comfortabele woning ligt aan de oostkant van het Big Island. Word wakker en grijp je koffie en loop 10 minuten naar 2 parken aan de oceaan om de zonsopgang te zien en naar walvissen te kijken!

Er zijn tal van avonturen in de buurt. Ga naar het schilderachtige stadje Pahoa, waar u een aantal geweldige restaurants en winkels met veel aloha-spirit zult vinden.

Nationaal park Volcano ligt op 68 km afstand. Plan om een dagje te verkennen.

Reis naar Hilo voor watervallen zoals Rainbow, Akaka en Peepee. Bezoek het Pacific Tsunami Museum, het Lyman Mission House, het Imiloa Astronomy Centre. Zie wat er te zien is in het Palace Theatre. Pick-up van verse producten, ambachten en souvenirs op Hilo Farmers Market. Er is ook een golfbaan in Hilo en verschillende zwemstranden. Bezoek Richardson Beach, Coconut Island en de prachtige Queen Liliuokalani-tuinen.

Reis langs de kust van Hamakua naar de uitlopers van de Waipio-vallei en stop zeker in Honokaa-stad om speciale artikelen uit Hawaii te kopen en natuurlijk ijs te scheren!

Neem een dag en reis naar de West Side. Kajak in Captain Cook Bay, neem een surfles, bezoek de toevluchtsoord. Er wachten ook verschillende prachtige witte zandstranden op u.

De woning is uitgerust met kabel-tv, blu-ray / dvd-speler met internetverbinding, een aantal dvd's en boeken. Bad, theedoeken en beddengoed zijn aanwezig. De keuken is goed gevuld met alle keukengerei, servies en apparatuur om uw maaltijden te bereiden. Er is een gasbarbecue en tuinmeubilair. En voor uw dagavonturen vindt u 5 snorkelsets, strandhanddoeken, matten, opklapbare tasstoelen, koelers, 2 boogieboards en zwevende noedels! Loved this sweet home within 5 minutes of the most beautiful sunrises on the island. It felt like a rustic cabin in the... jungle instead of the woods. Wish we could've stayed longer! Thank you for creating such a great place.

We stayed for two weeks while visiting family. The house and property were well maintained. The owner was very communicative and helpful during our stay. The neighborhood was nice and felt safe. We would definitely stay again.

This is an amazing place and location! A quiet neighborhood. It seems like there is no one around you because of all the beautiful vegetation. Didn't want to leave. Actually stayed an extra day. Looking forward to return someday soon.

We loved the quietness of the location, and a walk to the ocean. Its cliffs so no water access but nice views. They have cameras for security which was a bit disconcerting, but the location was quiet and off the beaten path. It was an hour drive to Hilo and about 50 min to the Volcano National Park. The host and the local contact were responsive and great to connect with. All in all a great respite and vacation. Their added touches were a wonderful addition.

The house and everything in it needed a good cleaning. We had to wash dishes before we could use them. (Food still on them) Kitchen light would not stay on and the Dan in the smaller bedroom would not come on the light worked but not the fan. Would not stay here again

My husband decided to take me to Hawaii this year for my birthday & I must say the home & island he picked out was perfect. The home was in a great quiet & beautiful neighborhood. There was so much to do on the big island that after being out all day, it was so nice being able to go back to a house that was clean, in a great location & was in a very quiet neighborhood. We spoke with the on island property manager twice regarding questions & she was so helpful. If you’re thinking of visiting the big island, definitely consider this home for your stay!

This property is a beautiful place to stay. There is a wonderful yard. You can walk to the ocean from the property and see the sea turtles every day. It is very relaxing and quiet here. The lanai is a wonderful place to sit and relax. Will come again to this property. This was already our second time staying here.

The property is exactly as described. I agree with other reviews in that the photos don't depict the interior as well as maybe they could. With the windows open, it's much brighter in the living room than shown. When we weren't by the ocean somewhere or at one of the local markets, we spent the majority of our time on the back porch having our meals and just hanging out. Very peaceful. Rochelle was extremely responsive to all our questions prior and during our stay.

I booked four nights and we only stayed one night. I missed that this property did not have a/c which was 100% my fault. However, the main issue I had staying more than one night was the owner wanted us to keep all the windows closed, with no a/c, due to recent break-ins in unoccupied properties in this area, when we were gone all day resulting in a very humid house to come home to after long hot days out exploring the island. If I would have known all that I would not have booked this house. It was a very beautiful quiet secluded area surrounded by tropical plants and trees. But be prepared to due a lot of driving because is off the beaten path. If we could have kept the windows open all day and night I probably would have stayed because the nights due cool off and the house is a comfortable temperature. Also after I informed the owner she did apologize and was going to try and get some of my money back! Which I appreciated since I had to stay somewhere else but I never heard anything either way. Just know if you book this property be prepared to drive father for everything thing… food, gas, excursions, etc and you’ll be coming home to a hot/humid house every day.
