'I found the hotel perfect for a short stay in Torquay. Only a 10 minute walk to the seafront and free parking just outside the entrance. I had a lovely cooked breakfast every morning with some extra treats. Really friendly place and I'm going back there in the summer. I'm using the hotel as a base to meet my friends who return to Torquay twice a year.'

'We had a lovely, well stocked room in a quirky, characterful property. The house is very clean and well decorated with an abundance of interesting artwork and curiosities. Our room was excellent as were the hosts and they certainly go the extra mile to make the stay an enjoyable one. Breakfast is amazing and left me completely satisfied. This is now our go to option for staying in this area and we'll definitely be back. We're so happy that we discovered this little gem.'

'What a lovely property with lovely hosts. Made us feel welcome and relaxed. Breakfast is just great! Full English, whatever you like, loads of options like cereals, crumpets, breakfast bars, fruit, yoghurts, waffles to name a few. Hosts attentive and eager to please while being friendly too. Room was very nice with big sliding window and smart TV with the usuals like Netflix and Prime (bring your own accounts!). 'Had a great stay at the Somerville I can see why it gets such good reviews. Lovely place to stay and just a short walk down to the marina and restaurants. Great hosts really look after you can't give them enough praise. Will definitely be going back for another visit.'
