'This hotel is a short drive to Monterey or even Santa cruz. It's not your average hotel where you wonder if the people are on vacation or if they're actually living there. It's right on the water which is near the Elkhorn Slough. You might see otters in the water and there are a variety of birds right outside of your window. The room was super cute. You have access to the shared kitchen and dining room in the house on the property. I will definitely be staying there again.'

'The staff are always nice, friendly and accommodating. I stay here when I’m in town at least every other month. Some of the rooms, the bed isn’t the most comfortable but some of the beds like the one I nose recently experienced were great. Always a pleasure. '

'Parking slots in the outside lot were poorly designed. Way too narrow. Room’s patio screen door was falling off the track, and the sliding glass door lock needs repair. Pocket door to bathroom very hard to open and close, probably because of the multiple paint coats. 'The room was not pleasant. One of the drawers kept opening up for no reason. The shower seemed old and dirty. The carpet seemed like they were never washed. Simply, it was not worth the money and the number of stars. '

'Situated in a beautiful garden this is a hidden gem. Furnishing is a bit worn and old fashioned button lots of ambiance. Waking up with a view on te sun rising over te ocean is super!
