'We began our stay in Ischia recuperating from the trip at Samiramis. We moved Albergo Macri as a home base for day trips around Ischia and to Naples, Pozzuoli and the Amalfi Coast. We were very conveniently located to take ferries and buses for those day trips. There is an excellent restaurant just down the block, and many more around the port and further into Ischia Porto. The owners were very hospitable. Excellent value. '

'This is the perfect lodging for your stay in Ischia. It's a short drive from the Ischia marina, where the ferry drops you off, but the public bus (less than 3€ a ride) is right outside of the hotel to get you back to the Ischia Marina where there are countless bars and restaurants, as well as the main shopping on the island, or to Fario where you unlock another world of the island. So convenient! The hotel staff themselves are so accommodating, as well. The staff during our stay didn't speak...

'Yes, in the street which runs past the hotel there are shops and bar. Walk one way takes you to the Castle the other to the ports and ferry. The street is pedestrianised, but that is Italian style---so look out for cars , motor bikes etc. '

'This villa is perfect. From the port of Ischia it’s a 20min walk or 5min with a scooter/car. The rooms are always clean with a terrace that has an unbelievable view of the coast of Napoli. Next to the villa they have their restaurant Nibili. They have delicious food and drinks/wine all fresh from natural products of the island. The staff is really friendly and helpfull. They all speak both italian and english. I had a perfect week here, it’s really worth it staying here! '

'Set atop a hill overlooking Ischia Ponte, the location and views are wonderful. The B&B itself is comfortable and the people very nice, even if they hardly spoke English. Facilities could use some maintenance but this is still very much a recommended spot.'

'This was a perfect location for staying on Ischia! The hosts were so nice and helpful during our stay, and just needed us to message when we were arriving on our first day. The balcony has beautiful views over the water and the rooms are cosy, clean, and wonderfully welcoming. Couldn’t suggest staying here any more, it is an amazing spot!'

'Room is very clean, bed is comfortable, shower stall is small (standard for Europe) but shower pressure is awesome. Slipper provided, our room has a nice balcony with partial view of ocean and thermal pool. Water provided in room is not free. Pool towel is not free, cost 5 euros to rent and pool cap cost 2 euros. Pool cap is required for pool use. Breakfast is has lots of choices from sweets to eggs and bacon, yogurt, salad and fruits. However, fresh squeezed OJ cost 3 euros. Location is...
