'We began our stay in Ischia recuperating from the trip at Samiramis. We moved Albergo Macri as a home base for day trips around Ischia and to Naples, Pozzuoli and the Amalfi Coast. We were very conveniently located to take ferries and buses for those day trips. There is an excellent restaurant just down the block, and many more around the port and further into Ischia Porto. The owners were very hospitable. Excellent value. '

'This is the perfect lodging for your stay in Ischia. It's a short drive from the Ischia marina, where the ferry drops you off, but the public bus (less than 3€ a ride) is right outside of the hotel to get you back to the Ischia Marina where there are countless bars and restaurants, as well as the main shopping on the island, or to Fario where you unlock another world of the island. So convenient! The hotel staff themselves are so accommodating, as well. The staff during our stay didn't speak...

'This villa is perfect. From the port of Ischia it’s a 20min walk or 5min with a scooter/car. The rooms are always clean with a terrace that has an unbelievable view of the coast of Napoli. Next to the villa they have their restaurant Nibili. They have delicious food and drinks/wine all fresh from natural products of the island. The staff is really friendly and helpfull. They all speak both italian and english. I had a perfect week here, it’s really worth it staying here! '

'Overall, Hotel Parco Cartaromana was a pretty mid stay. The view of the Aragonese Castle was absolutely beautiful and definitely the highlight of the hotel. The staff was also very friendly and accommodating. I have celiac disease, and one gentleman went out of his way to make my cappuccino separately and provide me with several gluten-free breakfast options, which I really appreciated. 'This was a perfect location for staying on Ischia! The hosts were so nice and helpful during our stay, and just needed us to message when we were arriving on our first day.
