Welkom bij Canary Palms - genoemd naar de majestueuze Canarische Eilanden Dadelpalmen die uitkijken over het weelderige en prachtig aangelegde pand. De eigenaren gebruiken dit huis vaak zelf - dus ze hebben alle essentiële zaken zoals breedbandinternet, 3 flatscreen-tv's, zeer comfortabele op de mid century geïnspireerde meubels en matrassen van hotelkwaliteit inbegrepen. Dit is een zeer stijlvol en toch leefbaar, zorgeloos huis waar je je voeten kunt opmaken, ontspannen en je geen zorgen hoeft te maken.

DE BINNENLANDSE WOONRUIMTES
Retro chique stijl ontmoet comfort en gemak in dit uitgestrekte ranch huis. De free flow-plattegrond biedt de perfecte ruimte om als een groep te verzamelen en even voor enige tijd weg te glippen. De woonkamer, de eetkamer en de serre staan allemaal voor elkaar open. De twee volledige badkamers en de goed gevulde keuken zijn echt cool gooi ruggen. Zoals goed bewaarde tijdcapsules. We houden van de keuken waarin roestvrijstalen apparaten zich mengen met met de hand gesneden en op maat gemaakte kasten. De grote bonus is de enorme speelkamer - een volledig gelukkige ruimte met comfortabele lounge stoelen en een tafeltennistafel. Vergeet niet je vinyl mee te nemen. De eigenaren zijn grote muziekfans die net een nieuwe stereokast hebben toegevoegd.

DE BUITENKAMER WOONKAMERS
Grote glazen schuifdeuren aan de achterkant van de serre onthullen het geweldige zwembad in resortstijl en een spectaculair uitzicht op de bergen. De achtertuin is volledig ommuurd en omheind voor privacy. Het onlangs gerenoveerde zonovergoten zwembad en de spa worden omringd door ligstoelen, af en toe een zitplaats, schaduwparasols, een vuurplaatslounge en een overdekte buiten woonkamer. Er is een gasbarbecue en u kunt buiten dineren - perfect voor diners bij het zwembad "thuis".

DE SLAAPKWARTERS
Beide slaapkamers zijn voorzien van matrassen van hotelkwaliteit, ruime opslag en flatscreen-tv's. Elk vangt de nostalgische sfeer van weleer. Kingsize bedden, gestoffeerde hoofdeinden en zachte witte wolkachtige bedden. Wees niet verbaasd als u merkt dat u laat slaapt of zich terugtrekt in uw slaapvertrek voor een rustgevende tijd. De serre heeft een mooie slaapbank en op Azië geïnspireerde deuren van rijstpapier die kunnen worden gesloten voor privacy.

LOCATIE IN SUNRISE PARK
Het huis ligt op een prachtig groot groot perceel in de buurt van Sunrise Park. Dit is een rustige woonwijk met overwegend mid-century-eigendommen met een grote uitstraling. De huizen hier zijn gebouwd tussen de late jaren 1950 en de vroege jaren 1970 - dus het zal voor altijd verbonden zijn met de naoorlogse bouwhausse toen het leven eenvoudiger was, de buren afweken van hallo, en avondwandelingen een belangrijk onderdeel van het leven waren. Vandaag de dag blijft Sunrise Park zijn erfenis als een van onze meest gewilde buurten in de stad - perfect voor diegenen die op zoek zijn naar een rustige, ontspannen vakantie doordrenkt van de midcentury magie van Palm Springs.

Sunrise Park is centraal gelegen - dicht bij de wijk gemakken zoals supermarkten, broodjeszaken, hamburgertentjes en koffiehuizen. The Dog Park en de Saturday Morning Farmers Market zijn een makkelijke wandeling. The Real Italian Deli en Starbucks. De wereldberoemde Palm Canyon Drive is heel dichtbij en het Casino, het Convention Center, Ruth Hardy Park en het Hugh Kaptur Plaza lopen allemaal

The yard was incredible! Beautiful private pool and Jacuzzi heated really nice and warm. The yard was definitely the highlight. And there was Grass for my dog. She was so happy. The neighborhood was great for walking.

A Stunning MCM Oasis in Palm Springs!

We thoroughly enjoyed every moment of our stay at Canary Palms. It is a gorgeous home, tastefully decorated with exquisite MCM details. The home's location was very central and convenient, and the neighborhood delightfully quiet. Walking the dog throughout the neighborhoods was a daily treat for the eyes with all of the stunning homes in the area. The pool and hot tub were refreshing, and we enjoyed a lot of sunshine in the middle of January! I would definitely return to this home on our next visit to PS, and highly recommend ACME Management Company. This home was the perfect retreat for our stay in Palm Springs!

Attention to Details Needed

Lots of positives with this home, but a few items to be aware of. The large yard areas are beautiful with nice views. The jacuzzi didn't work easily and resulted in a service call, so we were not able to use it as much as we would have liked. The living room as our favorite, with a really nice fireplace, good seating on attractive furniture. The dining area is tight since it has a large table and bulky chairs, which seemed a bit overkill for the 4 guests allowed. The kitchen is tight and very dark, it needs a ceiling light. There were no coffee filters for pot, we asked about this and were told we had to supply our own. We selected this property on the understanding it was 2 masters, seeing that it has 2 King bedrooms and 2 "full" baths. As it turns out, neither bedroom has an ensuite bath, there is one full bath, between the BR's and a small 3/4 bath across the home. Our friends didn't want to share a bath (out of deference to us, who set up the trip), so had to go across the home for the bathroom. On a more minor note, as noted by others, these bathrooms are not updated, the small one has a toilet that doesn't flush well with a slow filling tank. Towels were poor quality, no washcloths. It was cold, we asked for more bedding as there were no comforters, just bare blankets, and were told "no". Front yard and porch lights were out. Manager needs to review the home is in good working order for each visit.

Loved this experience!

We really loved everything about this property. The vibe, the location, the cleanliness, the amenities! We would come back to the same home. The only reason I did not give five stars is that the hot tub/ jacuzzi only worked one time after the maintenance worker came to try and trouble shoot. If that was fixed it would be 100!

we enjoyed this home and yard very much. its nicely appointed with quality furnishings and good artwork and a nice fireplace... So it felt like 'home'. You can tell the house is loved. And we loved it too. The neighborhood is great (and quiet) for mornings and evening strolls and close to everything. we will be back!

While the house was amazing and offered many options for entertainment, its location offered opportunities to explore the downtown areas, museums, and hiking. Quite simply, it was the perfect location.

The pictures don't do it justice, this is great house in a stunning neighborhood. It made walking the dog a highlight of the trip! Every house was my dream house. We loved the space of this place, the bed was comfortable and the neighborhood was quiet. Loved it.

Shower issues and kitchen

The blue bathroom with standing shower had very poor water pressure. It took a long time for the water to get hot. Once, you got hot water it was almost impossible to keep the temperature constant. Things like the toilet filling or someone using the pink bathroom shower caused poor water pressure and inability to maintain a constant temperature. Kitchen cabinets were old which was alright, but several cabinets didn’t latch closed and stayed ajar. House instructions asked that we turn off the AC upon departure. We could find no “off” switch on the thermostat. We just turned the AC up so it wouldn’t come on.

Great house with a nice pool - quiet neighborhood

House is quite large for only 2 bedrooms. The pool and hot tub are great and just what you want in Palm Springs. Home layout is interesting, and the extra table tennis room is fun. There is a mix of modern and original features in the house - maybe not what I would do with it but it works well for a rental. The neighborhood is great and very quiet. Nice to walk around and look at mid century architecture. A few upgrades could help - new carpets in the bedrooms, any lighting at all in the driveway, and update the showers.

Wonderful stay

Right from the check in process, where the AC temp was set perfectly, and jazz music on the TV, walking in from the crazy madness of air travel and heat shock (we’re from Canada), we just felt so at ease. The property is wonderful, as described, the property manager texted us right away providing a quick way to communicate and the rest was just great, Other than food, the house is fully stocked with plenty of towels, pillows, blankets, pots and pans. All the reviews say the bathrooms are outdated - this is true - but totally functional. Super clean and organized. Great stay, thank you!

Amazing place to stay and so relaxing

The property fit in perfectly with the look and feel of Palm Springs. The home itself was incredibly comfortable and the backyard pool area couldn't have been better especially considering the heat of the desert in the middle of summer it had plenty of shade. If you are looking for a place to enjoy and rest this is the perfect place. We will be back!

Our Trip

Overall, it's a nice place. All the furniture, indoors and out, is in great condition and the beds are extremely comfortable. Loved the overall living space. Great outdoor area, however the grill is off by itself, with no shade, and there is only one umbrella for 4 chairs which is highly insufficient and hard to understand the logic. The kitchen needs much better lighting and could use a refresh on the cookware. The dishwasher is weak, as I noticed someone else had also mentioned. Coffee maker instructions would have also been helpful, but we did appreciate the supplies (great coffee!). As for the bathrooms...the main bathtub is so slippery we had to wear our flip flops to use the shower, and the drain in the second bathroom stall shower sticks up, so be careful not to hurt your foot. One last suggestion: it would be great if the cleaning crew could make sure the alarm clocks are not set, as one went off in the middle of the night and the other went off the next day.

A gem of a home!

This was our third trip to Palm Springs and Canary Palms was a fantastic home for our stay. The house was spotless, beautiful and cozy for our December trip. The pool and hot tub were wonderful and loved that they were saline. The entire backyard is a gorgeous oasis. The ping pong table was a ton of fun. Loved the dinners we enjoyed at the dining table and that fireplace was amazing! Great great location! Exactly where we love to be each time. Acme was so responsive to any questions we had! I cannot recommend them enough. Thank you for a wonderful trip to one of our favorite spots!
