Hated the check-in process. The person helping me (Lexi) took 20 minutes explaining to me why I wouldn’t get my room for another 30 minutes, instead of just telling me I could have another room. why even go there to begin with ?? Don’t mention it and give another room! She talked in circles and I had a hard time following her.
And if I needed something during her shift, she just kinda grunted in acknowledgment & helped me, but was very unfriendly & barely acknowledged me. I did see her often walking around the property looking down at her phone or hanging out at either bar with bar staff socializing while people waited by the check in window.
Lexi definitely needs some lessons/training on appropriate levels of customer service. It would be in Skylark’s best interest to provide that.
Other staff at skylark were amazing! In particular, Mark at lost property, went above & beyond to make me feel relaxed and contented as I had a late dinner one night. Then again he and Andrea provided excellent service the next day for dinner & made me feel comfortable - 2 great experiences!
Also want to mention Alex who also provided great service & great personality while I was having lunch at the restaurant. And most importantly, the restaurant has amazingly yummy, fresh, healthy food!!! Check it out!!
Property is small & has a great pool area - spent most of my time there…
Walter & Scott are great - very friendly - hope to return again…
