Prachtige Lakeside Cottage (Hidden Cove Farmhouse)

Genesteld in de prachtige heuvels van Chattahoochee Hills is een prachtige boerderij aan het meer. Met zijn unieke boerderijindeling en authentieke buitenomgeving, zorgt het voor een thuis weg van huis. We hebben het huis ontworpen om een ruimtelijk, uitnodigend, thuis gevoel te hebben. Er zijn drie grote slaapkamers en een kleinere slaapkamer met comfortabele bedden en beddengoed. Er zijn drie badkamers, een grote moderne keuken, twee gemeenschappelijke ruimtes en Roku-tv's in elke kamer.
Buitenshuis is net zo intrigerend met de natuur op het meer en de achtertuin voor barbecues en vuurplaats.

To all potential guests: you want to stay here! Book it now. This place will not stay vacant it is so nice.We have been travelling for a few to several months for work over each of the last 5 years. Your home and you personally rank in the top 3 places of the hundreds we have stayed in all that time. From the welcome snacks (yum) and the bottle of wine to the extensive toiletries we felt welcome from the start. The ice machine part of the refrigerator was broken so you had supplied a countertop ice maker before we had even arrived. Then, when the tv decided it wasn't going to work, you had someone come to fix it that same day with no questions asked. Things break, that's just life. It's how you handle it and treat your guests that is what matters. And you did so with grace and immediacy. Everything was so comfortable, especially the beds. We felt truly welcome in your home. The lake front is beautiful and we were able to see some amazing wildlife. I can only hope to come back to the area someday and stay at your residence. Here's to you, Mrs. Washington!!

Beautiful property

This is a beautiful home and property. Our teens enjoyed some fishing. The house was very clean and comfortable, but the grass had not been cut, and the outside needs a little maintenance. The manager was very friendly and easy to communicate with.

Cute spot

We stayed here for Chatt Hills eventing and it was a great, close spot. Property manager was quick to respond, cute pond out front, lots of beds (no twin in Master), and had a toaster and coffee pot! Several hotels have vehicles broken into each year here, but this felt much safer tucked away. Would stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay at the cute lakeside cottage. It was very convenient to a wedding we attended at Fox Hall Resort! The house was decorated nicely and had plenty of room to spread out! There were a few things that could have been better like new mattresses for the smaller beds and a full sized working ice maker but overall it was well kept. The yard close to the lake/pond needed some attention. It could really be a beautiful setting with a little more TLC. The check in process was easy and the owner was very prompt in responding. Overall it was a great experience at half the price of the Resort!

Not what we expected

Communication: prior to our stay was great. He answered questions promptly. While we did have problems we DID NOT contact the owner about any of the issues below. Location: Difficult to get into and out of, especially at night. The road leading to it is very easily missed, dark, wooded, and a bit overgrown. Cleanliness: Cobwebs were in the dining room table area, upstairs corners and bathrooms. Kitchen floors were not swept. Upstairs tub was dirty and had hair in it. Laundry room still had someone else's clothes in the dryer. Entertainment: wifi did not work for us and we tried both options in the manual. Upstairs TVs controlled each others so my kids could not watch something different from what was playing in the opposite bedroom. Safety: The area is VERY wooded and dark at night. All curtains were sheer and could easily be seen through. Other: Manual said there was complimentary wine which we looked for, but never found. Trash was too be left on the outside trashcan, however to get to it we had to drive with the trash in the vehicle to the trash can at the road.

Good place to stay in Chatt Hills near horse park.

This home is a nice place to stay, if you are wanting to stay in Chatt Hills near the horse park. Upon arrival, we did have a few issues. Home was not cleaned well prior to our arrival. We requested to have more cleaning done, and the homeowner took care of it quickly. We also had issues with the Wi-Fi in the house. She also responded to those issues very quickly. While the Wi-Fi improves some, it was very inconsistent. Also had problems with the dish TV and Roku TVs. I assume the problems were related to the Wi-Fi issues. House has lots of room in it. Some beds need to be improved, but overall they were comfortable. I would prefer bedrooms to have dressers, so guests staying for a long period of time have somewhere to put their clothes. Overall, I was happy with our stay at this home.

Super close to Foxhall Resort

We stayed there for a wedding weekend at Foxhall Resort. The location was perfect - less than 10 minutes from the venue. The Host was quite prompt in answering questions. The layout worked great for our group of 6 adults and 2 kids. Accommodations were clean and the kitchen was pretty well equipped. Positives were location, layout, comfort, and all-around suitability. Only negatives were under-sized stand-alone ice maker and very weak cell signals but we really enjoyed our stay. Highly recommend it for reasonably priced accommodations for events.

Family wedding at Foxhall

Our stay was fine...just minutes from the wedding venue! The house and property were has described in the listing. However the bed situation could not comfortably sleep more than 4 adults..the other beds are children size. Only other complaint would be the lighting..every other bulb was burned out and some rooms had no lamps at all. Over all we enjoyed our stay and had SNOW.

Lovely Cottage

We arrived at night so it was hard to find because it was dark. The Host was helpful and finally found it. The cottage is beautifully decorated and I also appreciated that they put a Christmas tree up. Made it feel more festive. There was just a couple of things that was not bad but needs attention is that it’s very hot upstairs. There was some floor fans but even with that and the cooler weather, it was a bit uncomfortable at night to sleep in. Downstairs was fine with no issues. The upstairs shower is not ideal for any over 5’4. We all used the showers downstairs. The other thing but was not a big deal was the coffee pot. Who ever used it last did not clean and there was mold inside of it. We cleaned it and sterilized it before using. The oven as well was not very clean so we opted to just take what we needed to be bake to my sons home. Other then these minor things, our stay was very nice. We are not much to complain but we want to be honest. You truly have a beautiful home.
