The Neighborhood:

This location is perfect for those looking to relax but still enjoy their vacation to the fullest. A quick 3-minute walk will take you to The Big Chill (formerly The Hub 30A), where you’ll find a huge 25 ft cinema screen, stage and grassy turf with lots of outdoor comfy seating. Enjoy the live music, family movie nights, tasty food, bar, ice cream, candy shop, DJ dance parties, crafts, fire pit, bike rentals, boutiques, and more!



Other Things to Note:

3 MOST POPULAR BEACH ACCESSES:



Deer Lake State Park (.5 mile, 5 minute bike ride to entrance) This is our favorite!

Recently remodeled with bathrooms and a parking area (approx. $3 for parking). Get

there early, as there is limited parking, and they will close the entrance gate once the lot

is full. The boardwalk from the parking area to the beach is a beautiful 10 min walk

because you’re crossing through the state park and over the coastal dunes.

NOTE: Because this is a state park, and not a Walton County beach access, alcohol is

not allowed and beach chair service is not available at this location.



Gulf Lakes Public Beach Access (1 mile, 5 minute bike ride) This Walton County

beach access has a small entrance and can easily be missed. We suggest using maps

to locate this beach access point. NOTE: No public restrooms, no parking

Santa Clara Regional Beach Access (3.5 miles): This public beach access is a Walton

County, ADA approved, beach access located near Bramble Grove Road. Includes

restrooms, lifeguard and a wheelchair ramp for added safety. Parking is available.

NOTE: Public beach parking fills up quickly in peak season.
