Charmant studio-huisje aan een rustige straat met een prachtig landschap en tuinen

Achter een van de oudste, meest prachtig gerenoveerde historische huizen in Paonia, vindt u het prachtig privé Studio Cottage, ontworpen en gerenoveerd in 2011 door de getalenteerde lokale interieurontwerper Paonia, Jeanine Devlin.

Deze charmante cottage ligt in een prachtige schaduwrijke tuin met een ontspannen veranda aan de voorkant, een hangmat in de schaduw van een druivenprieel en een eethoek buiten. Wakker worden met de geluiden van vogels, fluiten en windgong is helemaal magisch! Het huisje is uitgerust met alles wat u nodig heeft voor een heerlijke week of weekend in Paonia, inclusief een kleine bibliotheek met boeken van lokale Paonia-auteurs! We hebben wel goede wifi, maar hebben GEEN tv.

Het huisje is heerlijk dicht bij alles dat is geweldig over Paonia als downtown ligt op slechts vijf minuten lopen. Daar vind je je keuze uit geweldige restaurants, waaronder de Back Country Bistro, The Living Farm Cafe, Louie's Pizza en de beruchte Revolution Brewery, of woon een avondfilm-, concert- of dansfeest bij in het prachtige Paradise Theatre of Blue Sage Center for de kunst.

Verken de vele lokale wijnhuizen die binnen 10-15 minuten rijden van het huisje liggen, of maak een ontspannen rit door de vallei om alle rijkdom en schoonheid van onze vele biologische boerderijen te zien. Geweldig wandelen, fietsen, langlaufen, paardrijden en vissen op forel van wereldklasse zijn allemaal gemakkelijk te bereiken.

Paonia biedt fantastische muzikanten, schrijvers, kunstenaars en ambachtslieden, samen met vele festivals zoals Cherry Days in juli, Mountain Harvest Fest in september en een lokaal filmfestival in het vroege voorjaar.

Tijdens een bezoek aan Paonia en de North Fork Valley ervaart u een aantal van de meest spectaculaire landschappen in West-Colorado. Voor een langer verblijf zijn het Black Canyon National Monument, Grand Mesa, West Elks Scenic Byway, de historische mijnsteden Crested Butte, Redstone en Marble en de passen Kebler en McLure allemaal binnen 1,5 uur rijden. Telluride en Aspen zijn 2 tot 2-1 / 2 uur van Paonia.

Wonderful

The cottage is lovely, clean, quiet and walkable to Grand st. Communication was clear and easy. Bed is comfortable and bath perfect. No microwave or hairdryer but I was prepared. Outside has porch and dining area. Stay and you won’t be disappointed. outside is charming and also quiet.

Great location!

Cottage was quaint/charming on a pleasant st 2 blocks from Grand St. It was stocked nicely with the exceptions of no ice, no shampoo, and no cream for coffee. Also, no tv. Main issue was that most of the resteraunts were closed ( we were there in the 3rd week of Aug).

Perfect stay!

We were so thrilled with our accommodations. They were just as the property was described but even more wonderful to enjoy in person. Paonia bread works (cash only!) and sweet grass had wonderful breakfast options. All within walking distance. The farms and vineyards are just a quick drive up the road. We would absolutely stay here again should we find ourselves in Paonia.

Comfy and Quiet!

We loved our stay in this adorable guest cottage in Paonia. Quiet spot in town, with a lovely garden. Definitely recommend a nap in the hammock! The town is very walkable - we only used our car when we wanted to visit the nearby wineries. Highly recommend Berg Harvest & Mercantile for visitors to Paonia. There is no microwave in the kitchen, which meant we needed to get creative with heating up our leftovers. That was minor enough that it did not diminish our enjoyment. The bed is comfortable, and the cottage cools off nicely with the in-unit AC during the heat of the day. At night we simply opened the windows. With the altitude, the nights are cool and pleasant. We will look here first when we come back to Paonia!

Downtown Paonia Location

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cottage.The location is great! Just a short walk to downtown and the grocery store. The outside garden is lovely and comfortable. The cottage was clean and the kitchen had everything one would need.We stayed during the summer and the cooling system kept us comfortable. Parking on the street was easy. I totally recommend the cottage as a place to stay in Paonia. One last recommendation…. Ask the local shop owners about the best restaurants. There is also a health food store located on the Main Street downtown.

Adorable Cottage and fun area!

We stayed two nights in this great cottage. It is perfectly outfitted. So comfy and inviting inside and out. We enjoyed making meals and relaxing at the space! We also walked around the downtown area and enjoyed some great eateries, coffee and galleries! We spent part of an afternoon at the Azura winery with fantastic wines, food and views. We visited Living Farm and grabbed some fresh eggs and produce. It was a perfect relaxing getaway! We love this cottage and the whole Paonia area.

Quaint and quiet

Really enjoyed our stay here in September. The garden is peaceful and private and the kitchen was very well appointed. The photos are very accurate and reflect the work the owners have done. The added bonus was the cat, who magically appeared every time we returned. A real joy to chill with on the porch. Would return.
