'Fantastic stay! We had a beautiful room (junior suite which I highly recommend since it’s just a little bit more money over a standard room. Breakfast was great! Very much to choose from and everything was fresh. Egg station could make you any egg you wanted. Pool is on of the biggest in Rio. Enough loungers aswell. Very kind staff. Nothing is too much! Be aware that the neighbourhood is not the cleanest or most touristic one. But it is safe. You can take a taxi/ Uber to any place very easily....

'Hotel is just renovated. All rooms are new, friendly staff, good pool, breakfast ok. Of course for the cheap price you can not expect 4 star things for a 3 star hotel. Area is safe, although it is advisable to leave valuable things behind. I did not use the safe but it is possible. It is close to all the bars and restaurants of vibrant LApa. De service is uitmuntend, het ontbijt is subliem. En dat het hotel qua inrichting wat gedateerd is krijg je ruimschoots vergoed in de prijs. De prijs kwaliteit verhouding is uitstekend.'

'Gorgeous well kept historic property. The breakfast the the afternoon tea were outstanding. We forgot our jackets in the room's closet. The hotel staff found it. We gave them our location, a hotel in Rio de Janeiro. They mailed to us, and 2 days later we received our jackets. Outstanding hospitality service.'

'Very close to the bus terminal Rio Novo, so good location if you need to take the bus. Otherwise I would recommend to stay closer to the city centre. The room was modern and clean with all facilities present. From the airport we split a taxi with another couple that had to go further than us. We bargained about the price and we end up paying the same price as if we would have taken the bus (30 real). '

'De ligging is ideaal, met een prachtig uitzicht vanaf het terras. Het personeel in het hotel is super vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Er is altijd iemand aanwezig bij de ingang, wat een veilig gevoel geeft. Wij kozen ervoor om het ontbijt erbij te nemen, en dat was zeker een goede beslissing. Het enige minpuntje is dat er geen voorziening is om natte zwemkleding te laten drogen.'
