'Property was decent and comfortable. The layout worked and added separation for two sleeping areas. The decor gave off a modern vibe. There was a lack of attention to the details though, leaving things looking unfinished. For example, the ice maker didn't make ice and there wasn't an alternative ice tray to make ice, one of the electrical outlet in the kitchen didn't work, and other small things.'

'Bedroom patio door won't lock! Safety issue! Not one plug in in the bathroom. Old steel building poorly remodeled into apartments. Poor workmanship!'

'The house was great! We were a group of 6 that was visiting the upper peninsula for the first time and used the house as a home base from which to see other spots. It's only 10 minutes from the Shipwreck Museum, which is a MUST to see, 2 hours from Pictured Rocks, 1 hour from Oswald's Bear Sanctuary, 1 hour from Sault Ste. Marie (Soo Locks), and 30 minutes from Tahquamenon Falls.The house had everything needed for a relaxing time after exploring the UP.'

'My husband and I had a perfect Valentine’s getaway here! The host was so friendly and incredibly quick with informative replies. The location is unbeatable—just one street from the snowmobile trails and close to gas and town. 'The house was clean, and there were nearby stores if you needed something urgently. However, the main issue was that the entire living room wall power outlets were short-circuited, preventing access to the TV and power outlets in that room and one of the bedrooms. The recliner couches were also unresponsive. I had to reach out to the owner and inform them that the situation was becoming too challenging for us to figure out whether the TV or power outlets were working. It took me about an hour or...

'We had an amazing stay at Hidden Haven with 4 adults, 1 toddler, and 1 dog! You can’t beat the location: we got to wake up to Lake Superior views, hear the waves crashing overnight, and could walk a few minutes up the road and be on the North Country Trail for trail runs and hiking. Everything was super clean and comfy and we had everything we needed to have a great few days. Looking forward to a repeat visit in the future!'
