'The property was totally fit for purpose and had all the amenities we needed. The beds were super comfortable. The only downside was that it did get a little noisy early on Monday morning as it is in an industrial area. We were woken by a noisy rubbish truck. Can't be helped though!'

'We were completely blown away by the Woodroyd Estate! The winding road to the house transported us to another world. The house is spacious and wonderful to explore. Likewise, the grounds were very entertaining to saunter around. It will definitely be the most memorable home we stayed at during our three week vacation. '

'Beautiful house with wonderful views of the bay. The home was well stocked and very comfortable. Check in and out was easy. Note that the driveway is a bit narrow so larger vehicles might do better by parking on the road. There is enough room for smaller cars to carefully turn around and exit smoothly. '

'We stayed in the house as a group of girls staying the night and spending time together for a friends birthday dinner. The house is in such a great location, the car park was so convenient and the beds are so comfy! Would stay here again in a heartbeat!'

'The location was great for easy walking to all city destinations. The place was modern and clean. The heating in the place was inadequate. The futon bed was very hard and lumpy. More blankets would have been nice.'

'Very comfortable, had everything we needed for our 2 night stay. Wish we could have stayed longer. Very close to cafes and restaurants. We walked everywhere. Loved the view of Kapiti Island '

'Don't be discouraged by the outside appearance of this gem of a place. As soon as you enter you are presented with a spacious, verging on opulent living space. Everything was as listed. Beautifully maintained and clean, we had a cosy couple of nights during some petty awful weather. Underfloor heating, comfortable beds, efficient heating was just what we needed.Only minute criticism was no coffee plunger but everything else was great.
