'One of the most amazing independent hotels I’ve stayed! Staff are so hospitable and helpful. Location is next to Cava Grado beach and 10 mins to Sant Angello. Rooms are basic but very cute with balcony. Also very convenient to have breakfast served on the terrace each morning. Hotel owner and staff were so helpful with recommendations! I will come back again for sure — they helped to make my Ischia vacation incredible! Missing the island (and Rio the dog!) already'

'Villa Tara is an exceptional accommodation; a historic building with character and unique charm. Very beautiful surroundings in the middle of nature. Very quiet location, yet well developed. Restaurants and shops within walking distance. The perfect place to relax and get to know Succhivo, Sant Angelo, Panza and Forio. 'Struttura un po datata ,ma con tutti i confort. Dal parcheggio (a pagamento) bisogna percorrere 700mt sulla passerella di legno dietro gli stabilimenti balneari....ma ne vale davvero la pena! Vista dalla camera mozzafiato. Colazione discreta. '

'We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. All the staff were lovely and helpful. A special mention for Nicole, grandson of the owner, for his kindness and good humour. Breakfast was very good, and the thermal pools were gorgeous. Dining a la carte was a challenge for one of us but only because food containing octopus was not for that palette. Lunch is located separately from the evening dining rooms with a delightful view out to sea and good choices on the menu. The set evening menu tended to be...

'Das Hotel hat eine wunderschöne Aussicht an guter Lage, jedoch ist es ein bisschen in die Jahre gekommen. Der Service war in Ordnung, teils etwas lange Wartezeiten. Minus: Zimmertür war blockiert und wurde erst beim zweiten Mal durchs Fenster klettern richtig repariert. Klimaanlage funktionierte nicht ganz zuverlässig. Dünne Wände, Nachbarn waren gut hörbar. Versteckte Kosten: Badetücher kosten pro Tag 3 Euro. Plus: Silvestro (Barkeeper) in der Sky Bar. Location, Garten, Bäder.'

'Nice stay. We went out of season so island and hotel very quiet. Lovely service from B&B owner. Booked a family room with breakfast but ended up with two rooms...not an issue for us. No breakfast being served either, again not an issue as bakery just up the road. It was our of season so I think these were more of a miscommunication with hotels.com. Great location for Barano beach, easy to reach using no 5 bus from main bus station from ischia port.'

'Hotel Loreley exceeded our expectations! The views from the hotel were stunning. The staff was friendly and helpful, the breakfast was very good with multiple choices of both hot and cold foods and drinks, the room was comfortable and clean with air-conditioning. They provided lifts to and from restaurants and the beach. Would recommend for solo, friends or couples!'

'Amazing! Staff was kind and very helpful, the e accommodation is amazingly beautiful. Breakfast is top notch, one of the best I’ve ever had in any hotel. And to top it off we decided to end our vacation on the Amalfi coast right here, because it was just to good!'

'Note positive: la cordialita' e simpatia di Mimmo, il parcheggio per l'auto. Note negative: nella stanza 129 dove eravamo alloggiati non prendeva il cellulare né il wifi; praticamente non batteva il sole e c'era un odore di muffa; ritengo controproducente far pagare 5 euro al giorno l'uso dell'aria condizionata e 5 euro al giorno l'uso del frigorifero (meglio aumentare i prezzi)'

'The owners could not have been more kind. The pool and roof deck had ocean and town views, the lobby and restaurant overlook the same lovely views, the breakfast was wonderful and the location is a very short walk to town. It was better than staying in sant angelo proper because we were removed from any noise and we were right at the bus stop. I would definitely stay here again. '

Superior kamer, uitzicht op zee | Kameruitzicht

'Hotel and beach are very relaxing and the staff is very nice. To get around its either up and down very big hills or you have to call down for a golf cart to go into town. We thought it was a little more walkable than it is. If you are looking for a quiet getaway- this place would be perfect. '
