'We had a great time at this adorable farmhouse! Our family of 5 enjoyed cooked meals together at the table, tea and coffee every morning, and board games every night! Tom was extremely hospitable and made sure our stay was perfect!'

'The house worked really well for my family as we celebrated my wife's birthday. My kids (9,7,5) loved exploring the house and the twin beds room. The house was warm even in the snowy weekend, and we enjoyed walking to town for the oyster restaurant, the escape room, and fireworks pizza. Vanish brewery is also really fun with music and an arcade for the kids and beer and more oysters for us! A great weekend, thank you!'

'A few of my friends and I stayed here for our Galentine’s Day celebration. We LOVED our stay - our only regret we had was not checking in earlier and maximizing our time at the house. 'The hosts received a notice that we had lost heat at the house. We actually did not, but they were out the next morning to check the furnace and brought two space heaters we did not have to use. Really enjoyed our stay.'

'We had a great stay at Terra Alta. Everything was super clean upon arrival, communication through Mountain Mama was fantastic and very helpful. The views from the house are amazing. We visited the local wineries and breweries, and then ended each night in the hot tub. Would absolutely recommend Terra Alta and any property manager by Mountain Mama in the future.'

'This is the 2nd year we have stayed here for HOA. The house is old but has a story and i like that. There is plenty of room for the whole group to have our own space. The kitchen has everything we needed to cook our own meals. The view of the river is nice. We love the driveway to the house. Its filled with cows and lots of wildlife. Never know what you will see. 'My family and I had a wonderful stay for Thanksgiving. The house truly feels like a home and the property is stunning - so many beautiful walks to do straight out of your front door. Much of the furniture, including the mattresses, is old and not necessarily the most comfortable, but the rest makes up for it.'

'The property was just down a gravel road that any car could tackle, one of our group had a Prius. In a just perfectly slight remote area of WV. Just far enough off the beaten path. 'We have stayed in VRBO properties since before COVID times, and enjoy them for the ability to “live like a local” in either new places or areas we are quite familiar with. We chose the cottage to be central in Leesburg and meet up with family and friends over the Easter break. It was an easy walk to shops and restaurants, but we also were happy to have space to visit with the family and share a home-cooked meal. 'Recently stayed the cozy cabin for a delightful weekend in the mountains. The cabin is lovely, especially the new master suite, bathroom, and beautiful wrap around deck. There’s almost no need to go anywhere, just sit and enjoy the views, the fireplace, and lovely location. That said, it’s super easy to get to Shenandoah and Front Royal as well, making it a perfect landing spot for activities in the region. I would definitely stay there again and highly recommend.'
