The space
This charming Parisian cottage is a completely private standalone house—an exceptionally rare find in the heart of the city. With its own separate entrance, you’ll have the entire space to yourself: a cozy living room, an elegant bedroom, a full private bathroom, and a lush private garden with an outdoor dining table and two chairs.

Designed in the refined Louis XVI style, the cottage has been recently renovated and decorated with classic French antiques, including a sparkling chandelier and authentic details throughout. While there’s no full kitchen, the living room features a stylish bar area equipped with a mini fridge, microwave, and espresso machine—perfect for light meals or morning coffee before heading out to explore the incredible local dining scene.

Upstairs, the bedroom is a romantic escape, complete with French doors and two garden-facing windows. The en-suite bathroom includes a stand-up shower with its own door, a sink, toilet, and towel warmer. Please note: the bedroom is accessed via a steep, narrow winding staircase typical of old Parisian homes, which adds to the charm but may not be ideal for guests with limited mobility.

Outside, your private garden is surrounded by trees and greenery, offering a peaceful, almost countryside feel in the middle of Paris. The cottage sits at the center of a quiet, enclosed courtyard surrounded by private residential buildings, making this an incredibly tranquil and secure setting—truly a hidden gem. In fact, fewer than 100 homes like this exist in Paris, making your stay a truly unique experience.

The house was once owned by a renowned French scientist who was a personal friend of Albert Einstein, adding a touch of historical magic to your visit.

While there is a limestone cellar below the cottage where the host lives, your space is entirely private and separate. You’ll rarely see your host unless you need assistance—so you’ll enjoy a completely independent and peaceful stay.

Located in the heart of Montmartre, one of Paris’s most iconic and artistic neighborhoods, you’ll be steps away from bustling cafés, charming streets, and a vibrant nightlife. Guest access
Guests have exclusive access to the entire private cottage, including the living room, bedroom, bathroom, and a small private garden with outdoor seating. The house has its own separate entrance and is completely independent. Check-in is easy and flexible, done via a secure lockbox.

While there is a cellar below the cottage where the host lives, the space is fully private and self-contained—guests typically won’t see the host unless they need assistance. Enjoy a peaceful, quiet stay in this rare and charming Parisian hideaway.

During your stay
I live quietly in the cellar space below the cottage, but the house itself is completely private and separate. I’m often working or busy, so chances are you won’t see me at all during your stay. That said, I’m always just a message away if you need anything or have questions—I’m happy to help when needed, while fully respecting your privacy.

Other things to note
Just a heads-up, there’s a trap door in the living room floor that leads to my private cellar below. Please avoid stepping on it or placing anything on it, as it’s not meant for use.
