This hotel is clearly not a five star property. The condition of the room was at best a four-star by European standards. The furniture is worn down and DIRTY. The headboard for the bed was ripped. They assured me that they would switch it out but they did not. Room needs new carpet and touch ups. They have completely misrepresented the size of the room. They have added the square footage in the balcony to the actual room size. There was insufficient closet space. They used a TV cabinet for a closet. About 18” on each side to hang clothes. One side was for short items (dress shirts) and the other for long items (costs, dresses). The location was great. I have stayed at Hotel Montaigne and Hotel Matignon Paris in the same neighborhood multiple times and have been very happy. Those are truly boutique five star hotels.

While the hotel location, cleanliness and comfort were very good, however it is not a 5 stars hotel by any chance. For $ 400 a night, I have expected a much more money worth luxury. It’s way overpriced.

Staff - 4.5 stars. Hotel itself - 3.5 stars
Staff was very professional. Breakfast had a small selection and was a bit pricy but for what they, the quality was good. The decor is mid century and classy but dated and we found the rooms to be a bit small for our liking. Not a fan of the toilet and bathtub being in the same room. The hotel has character and a boutique feel but I don’t think I would stay there again.
