Dear Brenda, I would like first of all to thank you for sharing your experience at the Hotel & Spa Royal Madeleine. The room's size are precised in the hotel descritpion when you book the room, they can seem small for you but it is a regular size for a parisian hotel. You book a classic room and you got a classic room. Regarding the price, you were paying 202 per night which are the lowest price you could find in Paris center.Our Spa area is quite big for a Hotel in Paris. Very charming hotel with excellent staff
Lovely hotel in the city centre. The rooms are small as all Paris hotel rooms but nicely decorated with much taste. The hotel is clean, and breakfast is complete. The bar is "next doors" and enjoyable to finish the evening. The hotel staff goes beyond expectations. A special thanks to Pamela for arranging a last-minute diner reservation in a pleasant restaurant close by. Will come again with much pleasure.

Horrible experience
When our Thalys got cancelled due to the strike, the Royal Madeleine delivered the worst service ever. The thalys informed us on Thursday at 11 PM that our train got cancelled for the next day (6AM), so I called the hotel right away but had to call back the next day as the manager already left.. When I finally spoke to the manager (Claire) she simply told me we had to pay anyway. She could not refund me or move the reservation to another date.. Even in Hospitality there are certain circumstances in which a hotel has to be flexible to its customers - such as strikes and cancellations of transportation. I have worked in 5 star hotels and we have always refunded out guests when their flight/train got cancelled - even when their room was prepaid/non refundable. We were already devastated that our 5 year anniversary weekend got cancelled - nevertheless were charged the full amount due to something that was totally out of our hands.. Besides, I found the "manager" really rude as she only apologized after 5 minutes - I have never experienced a front desk manager being that rude (she is the business card of your hotel..). For a hotel that is claiming to provide high service, I was extremely dissapointed in their flexibility and hospitality.. Never again for us.

- Schone comfortabele kamers. - Kamers aan de voorzijde zeer, zeer gehorig. Ieder geluid van straat is te. Horen. Gezien aanwezige bars in de straat is slapen voor 1u ‘s nachts niet mogelijk.

I liked their spa and the ability to book it for a block that only my friend and I had it to ourselves to relax after a long day. The staff were kind and responsive. Brought us welcome macrons and checked in on us.

Lovely hotel
Beautiful hotel in a great central location in Paris yet on a quieter road with not too much traffic. Spa was a massive bonus for us. Only recommendation is to change the reservations to 30 mins and only allow one room at a time as ours was ruined by other guests who were jumping around the pool as apposed to relaxing.

The overall experience was great especially for my first time. There was a little confusion between the languages but eventually worked out. I didn’t like that the television only went up to 20 you really couldnt hear anything while trying to watch movies and you heard neighbors more than you heard the television.

Dejligt hotel med god beliggenhed
Dejligt hotel med perfekt beliggenhed. Den første morgen var morgenmaden helt i top men som dagene gik blev udvalget mindre og mindre og der blev ikke rigtig fyldt op. Dejlig lille pool i spaen som vores børn brugt hver eftermiddag når de små ben ikke orkede at trave mere rundt i gaderne. Vil klart anbefale hotellet ☺️👍

The room was small but beautiful and extremely comfortable. The location is superb and I loved having an afternoon cocktail and snack at L'Arcade, just a few metres from the hotel. The swimming pool at the hotel is a wonderful little haven, perfect for relaxation after a day of walking around Paris.

It's okay, they did skrup twice, not locking the twin bed. And we feel trorue 2 times the bed because of this, in addition they trou away all over things from the room. So don't expect, to get your stuff back if you forget it. The good thing is resterunt, with friendly and proper staff. But would say, don't go to this hotel, meter please in the eria. But food, would be the only thing I would go back fore.
