Hart van het romantische Marais, rustig en zonnig

In het hart van het historische Marais, op een steenworp afstand van het Picasso Museum, tussen Bastille, République en de Seine, op de hoek van de rue de Bretagne en de beroemde Rode Kindermarkt met zijn ongelooflijke restaurants en kaasmakers. Onder meer Libanese, Japanse en Italiaanse cateraars. Een zeer trendy buurt, moet worden erkend. Het is leuk, levendig, maar helemaal niet chaotisch. Nieuwe luxemerken in de rue de Bretagne, zoals patissier Pierre Hermé en Kenzo, enz.
Het appartement is ideaal voor een gezin van 3 of een stel dat de toevoeging van een extra bed, of slechts twee vrienden, op prijs stelt.
"Het appartement is charmant (oude Parijse stijl met oosterse boventonen), gastvrij en goed uitgerust", schreef een van mijn huurders die er 3 maanden doorbrachten.

Het bevindt zich op de 5e verdieping van een traditioneel oud gebouw en heeft door zijn hoogte veel licht en zon. Crossing. Oost / West dubbele belichting. Er is een plafondventilator, erg handig in geval van warm weer. Ik wijs erop dat er geen lift is, sorry, zoals vaak in de Marais.
Het gebied is 40 vierkante meter. Wasmachine drogen, Fibre TV, zeer goede wifi-verbinding
Op de vloer, prachtige oude tegels
Bus- en metrostations liggen op een steenworp afstand. Velib- en Autolib-stations. Winkels liggen op minder dan dertig meter afstand en er zijn er veel en voor fijnproevers

Das Bad ist nachträglich eingebaut und hat keine ausreichende Belüftung. Dadurch gibt es Schimmelspuren in der ohnehin sehr engen Dusche. Das Geschirr, vor allem die Gläser, waren nicht sehr sauber. Es gab daraufhin Kontakt mit dem Vermieter. Das

Good price, good location, nice apartment on the 5th floor

The apartment is very spacious considering the reasonableness of the cost per night. There is a kitchen/laundry area, a good size living room, bedroom and bath. Bed is very comfortable. The neighborhood is safe and quiet. It is 5 flights up with no elevator, so if you tend to go back and forth to your apartment frequently during the day you will do a lot of climbing. I tended to leave in the morning and come back at the end of the day, and I am in good shape, so it was not a big issue for me. A few tips: the fruit stand right around the corner is great--very fresh and reasonable and friendly. The empanada restaurant just down the street is great for a quick bite or a late meal. Very reasonable and tasty. Very friendly. There is an Italian food shop just around the corner where you can buy things to bring home and heat up in the microwave--again very reasonable, and tasty.

Our Time in Le Marais

If you are okay with the old world (dusty/moldy) feel of Shabby Chic, this place is a good fit for you. Think Shabby Chic...shabby apartment....in need of some TLC in a fantastic neighborhood. Price was perfectly reasonable...Pierre/Marie were very professional and easy to deal with. really no problems at all. Except the apartment smells like mold. Ifbyou have any sort of allergy, this would be a problem. The pictures are accurate, but of course you can't smell a place based on the pictures. So. Just a word of caution. If you're sensitive to smells....the moldy smell was significant.

We felt at home almost immediately. But we felt like Parisians at home in the cozy, fascinating, hip Marais. Just steps from the rue de Bretagne were multiple boulangeries/patisseries, cafe/restaurants, tasty delis, mouthwatering fruit and veggie markets, wine shops, and various other shops. All very French, including the Japanese Sushi place and the Thai restaurant. A couple of short blocks one way and you can turn on rue Vielle du Temple, which plunges into the ancient Marais, past magnificent 'hotels particuliers,' exquisite urban gardens, museums and ultra-chic shops. Head the other ways and there are more gardens, landmarks, shops, and places to drink, eat, sit and talk, or read, or gaze at the passers by, who tend to be young and attractive, often jabbering and smiling, etc. at each other. And there's the built-in exercise program of climbing up and down five flights of old, wonderfully crafted wooden stairs. Inside: lots of light, lots of cross-ventilating windows that allow the fresh breeze to waft through, a very functional kitchen, interesting furniture, dishes, lamps, etc. Quiet but with some street sounds that we found were not too loud and generally were pleasant reminders of where we were. Interesting apartments across the street, one with an abudant terrace garden and attentive, albeit ancient owner. 'Tout pour plaire.'

Best neighborhood to stay in Paris!

This was the BEST location ever. The apartment is adorable. My 87 year old grandma slept in the bedroom and I slept in the twin bed in the living room. We both slept very well! The apartment is 5 flights up which was definitely difficult for my grandma, but we managed just fine. But truly, the location couldn’t be beat.

Wonderful apartment in Paris for spending a week in the beautiful city

The apartment had everything we needed to be comfortable, and to prepare meals in our apartment. The location was absolutely the best. Across the street we had a bakery and a butcher shop and a wonderful grocery store. Coffee shops were on either side of us, and the metro station was only two blocks away and took us anywhere we wanted to go. we were greeted on arrival and found everything to be as expected. In addition to this, there was a parking garage less than one block away for us to park our car and have access to it whenever we needed it. The best recommendation that I can give is that we’re planning to spend another week there this coming December .

Perfect location, lovely host

My college age children and their cousin stayed here for a few days and had a perfect experience. The location is wonderful, it was very comfortable for the three of them, and the host was very kind and very easy to work with. It was very safe and just delightful. Would certainly rent again.

This IS Paris at its best...our stay could it have been better!n

Lovely...yes, 6th floor walk up but e ery step worth it...really living in Paris. Two bakeries, a butcher shop, cheese shop, chocolate shop, pharmacy, vegetable and fruit sbops, restaurants of all kinds, all within easy walking distance of everything from the Bastille to the Arc de Triomphe, including the Picasso Museum, the Carnavelet Museum, the Jewish History Museum, the Pompidou Center, the Hotel De Ville and Isle de la Citeé, with Notre Dame, Saint Chapelle, Saint Sulpice, Saint Germain de Pres, Le Pony Neuf, La Rive Gauche, La Museé ,de Louvre, the Tuillerie Jardina, Les Champs Elysee, etc. Only need taxis to La Tour Eiffel and Monmarte. Perfect location, clean and comfortable, with a real Paris experience! Be sure not to miss two exceptionally fine restaurants, Mr. T's at 38 Rue de Saintonge and Big Love, about a block away. The people were lovely and welcoming...helped us with our French as we helped them with their English. Just lovely...Pierre and Maria were warm and helpful. Spent New Year's Eve at the Arc de Triomphe on the Champs Elysee! Quelle nuit! Perfectement! Cinq étoiles!
