Wonderfully Peaceful!
Clean, bright and comfortable apartment in the heart of the Marais! Amazingly quiet at night - you don’t even realize you’re in the city. Kitchen has everything you need - really rare to have windows on both sides - adds a lot of light and air. Already planning our return!

Großartiger Aufenthalt
Die Wohnung ist schön eingerichtet und hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Die Küche ist toll ausgestattet. Bett und Schlafsofa waren sehr bequem. Alles war wunderbar sauber. Ines ist sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Auch in der Gegend haben wir uns wohl gefühlt: eine sehr leckere Bäckerei, ebensolche Falafelläden, Supermarkt und Metro sind fußläufig erreichbar. Paris lässt sich von hier aus unkompliziert und mit kurzen Wegen erkunden. Wir danken Ines für Ihre Gastfreundschaft.

Great location!!
Overall it was a great stay. The location is fantastic!! The apartment space was beautiful and very clean. A couple things that I felt were odd or didn’t go very smoothly. 1) we were told how to get into the building etc but not how to obtain the keys. We knocked/rang doorbell several times over the course of an hour and no one was there to greet. I had to go find Wi-Fi to get into app to message host. No one answered the phone when I called. Maybe it’s the wrong number but I don’t know. 2) only hours before our departure we were told we’d have an inspection. This was never communicated prior to. I’ve NEVER had to do this. It was very odd and quite disruptive as we had to include this to our packing itinerary. If you’re looking for easy checkin/checkout, I’d reconsider.

We had a *fabulous* week here. The apartment is clean and cozy, with a comfortable bed and well-appointed kitchen. Of course, the real draw is the location, which is ideal: close to many shops, restaurants, and two major Metro stops. Despite the bustle of the Marais, things were surprisingly quiet at night—the apartment’s windows are world-class—and we slept very well. The host was warm and responsive throughout our stay. We can’t wait for our next visit!

A wonderful stay in Marais
It was the perfect place for my mom and I to stay during our time in Paris. The apartment is lovely; clean, charming + comfortable, and so quiet at night. It is perfectly located, so many great shops and cafes nearby, and close to the Metro/taxis to get to other areas easily. The hosts were incredibly welcoming + kind throughout our stay. We are so grateful for their kindness and our special time in their beautiful property.

We enjoyed our stay at Ines’s place very much. Location was perfect and the flat nice and very clean. Ines’s family lived in the next apartment on the same floor so check in/out process was very smooth. We slept in a separate bedroom and the kids slept in a sofa bed in the living room.

Wonderful Apartment
We stayed 8 nights and the apartment was very clean, had everything we needed. Made our stay in Paris very comfortable and easy. Perfect position and easy to get around. Fabulous Apartment in Le Marais
Wonderful apartment. Bigger than it seemed in the pictures and a beautiful mix of modern finishes and old charm. Spotlessly clean. Comfortable bed and well appointed kitchen. Shower and toilet were great. Lots of windows to let in the air and light. Check in was easy, Ines met us and was very simple. The location is in the heart of the area and you can easy spend days just wandering, shopping, eating and people watching in the dozens of cafes. Great bakery a few doors down. Highly recommend and would definitely stay there again!

Great apartment in a perfect location
I spent a week in this lovely flat. Located in a busy are of the Marais you can walk everywhere and if you need the Metro, the line 1 St Paul stop is very close. The apartment is well laid out, equipped with all necessities and has good cross ventilation with windows in every room. I would gladly stay here again.

We spent a few days in this Marais apartment. Extraordinarily clean and well appointed. Comfortable bed and pull out couch. Steps away from Metro, shopping, food, and sightseeing. Communication with owner was prompt. Good instructions provided… take my advice and read it fully so you don’t puzzle over where the cutlery is!

Fabulous location, great apartment
Just what we needed for 4 night stay in Paris. The Marais is a lively and vibrant neighbourhood. We did however stay during the Paris heatwave (over 30 degrees) and the apartment trapped alot of heat, making it hard to sleep at night. The portable air con was ok but more of a fan. The apartment is in the fabulous Marais location, it wasn’t too noisy at all, windows great at blocking our street noise (especially at night). We had minor issues with check in - had to wait in the stairwell to retrieve the key - usually would be ok but was very hot day and we arrived well after 4pm so was expecting quick access to the apartment. We would recommend for friends and family.

We had a wonderful stay Paris. This apartment is in a great location with easy access to the Metro, restaurants, cafes, shopping and more. The apartment was clean with a lot of light, was comfortable, and had plenty of space for two of us. The air conditioning was a small mobile unit that uses ice, but it also had a fan which was nice. The windows bring in a nice breeze, but there is street noise at night. Checking in and out was simple.

Overall this was a great place to stay. The location is very close to the Metro, and in an upbeat friendly area of the city. There is an extra charge for having more than two guests, and the air conditioning is minimal. That being said , the host is quite responsive and the space is in excellent condition and very clean.

This apartment is in a fantastic location; there's a Metro stop & a taxi stand within a block, and great bistros, cafes, and retail stores a short walk away as well as a grocery store, which sells great wines, a few blocks away. The apartment was spotless, bright, and comfortable for two people. The windows on either side provide a nice cross-breeze. The kitchen has new appliances and decent counter space. This listing includes air conditioning, but there wasn't any air conditioning in the apartment. While the windows provide a nice cross-breeze, most of the apartment faces the street, so for most of the day, it gets very loud; if you want to get any sleep, you have to close the windows, which makes the apartment get quite hot. There is no book explaining anything in the apartment. We did find a drawer in the kitchen with appliance manuals, but they were either in French or German and of no help at all. Other reviews rave about Ines and how helpful she is; however, we neither saw nor spoke to her. A neighbor who spoke very little English checked us in but gave us no helpful information. It took several emails with Ines to figure out the espresso machine; we had to figure everything else out (the conduction oven with child locks) on our own. Our main issue is that the sensor light on the spiral staircase only worked on the way up, and it turned off before we reached the apt. On the way down at night, it was dark and dangerous so we had to use our phones to light the way.

The property is in an excellent location and with good appliances. We did have a little difficulty getting the key and locating ines. A list of advice on appliances might help. On the whole, though, a most enjoyable stay in a brilliant location and a clean, modern, neat, well set up apartment with excellent appliances.

Loved our stay in Le Marais!
We recently stayed in this spotless apartment for 5 nights in March. Everything in the apartment was clean and in good repair. The apartment was roomy enough for my husband, my 17 year old daughter and me. We enjoyed the full kitchen and table for 4. There is a washer in the kitchen, and host provides a clothing rack to hang clothes to dry (it's under the bed). The rack actually works quite well and our clothes smelled amazing. Getting the keys was easy, and there was plenty of communication between the host and us during our stay checking on us and making sure we had everything we needed. There is a small charge for use of the couch as a sleeper sofa, so be aware if you're traveling with more than 2 that there is a small upcharge. I'd happily pay it again, as this apartment was lovely, quiet, well furnished, clean, and cozy. The neighborhood is great as well, and is quiet and safe in the evenings. There are lots of great shops and bakeries open during the day right outside the door. You're on the 2nd floor (which is 3rd in Paris) and the stairs are fine. I was expecting them to be tiny but they are roomy enough for lugging up a suitcase or two. Exceptional stay in Le Marais! I highly recommend this apartment and would love to stay here again.

But we were only advised when I contacted Ines about the check in process a few days out that there were extra fees for our kids to use the couch bed (even though we booked for 4 people originally) and this was very disappointing. Great find in Le Marais
We really enjoyed this property in Le Marais. It's walking distance from a lot of great stores and bakeries - an amazing one just a few doors down in fact. The property was very clean and it was great having a kitchen and washing machine. The only reason for the 4 star is that we pre-paid and it was identified by the owner the rate should have been higher for the holiday. It would have been preferable to work through Vrbo on this change as it cost us more with the exchange rate being less favorable when we checked in and paying the difference in cash. It wasn't a huge bump in cost and we found the property still worth the stay - it's a great property. We just wish this transaction would have been handled better through Vrbo.

The apartment exceeded our expectations. Even on cloudy, rainy days, it was very light because of the large windows on both sides. The location in the Marais could not have been better -- close to the river, museums, the metro, restaurants and stores; but when you walked through the front door, totally private. We loved our stay here. It’s a bright apartment with a good amount of space for all four of us including the sofa bed (which easily converted back to a sofa during the day). It’s a great neighbourhood - busy at the weekend especially but the windows blocked out most of the noise. We loved being able to walk to the Seine or just wander around Le Marais for ice cream, crepes and falafel of course! We couldn’t think of a nicer apartment in such a central, safe and charming location.

I’ve rented other apartments in the Marais and this one is by far my favorite: central location (and a relatively quiet street at night), good light, well-appointed kitchen, comfortable bed, good closet/drawer space in the bedroom. The apartment was recently renovated so everything is clean and works well (especially appreciated the double-paned windows to the street). Be aware that it’s a 2nd-floor walk-up up narrow stairwell, so take your time with heavy/bulky bags. Proprietor Ines lives nearby and is very responsive and helpful. All in all an excellent choice all-around. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again.

Nice property unfortunate communication
The apartment was perfect, clean, well appointed, with a fun central location. I was disappointed with the communication when I learned I had to leave a day early. We had agreed that the host would refund me for the last night (minus the vrbo fees) if she was able to find another guest. She informed me via text that she had another guest and would therefore issue the refund. Unfortunately she did not honor our agreement and instead offered a free night should I return to Paris. This did not feel helpful or fair as she received payment from me and another guest for the same night. I informed her several times prior to writing this review that I was not looking to recoup any fees just what felt fair and reasonable.

Thank you for your fair assessment. For my part, I was particularly understanding, I agreed to reimburse you for your last night when you were already in your rental (I had no obligation. Worse still, when there is a reservation not honored on D-Day. the owner keeps the entire rental price). I was particularly nice to you. We are both VBRO customers, I cannot pay you directly. VBRO must solve this situation. Just like you, I raise regularly... you will probably get a refund from them shortly.

Our stay was excellent. It is a great location. Close to lovely shops and lots of restaurants. We spent lots of time just walking around the Le Marais district. Also close to all the highlights of Paris, including a short metro to Montmartre. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Paris

Ines' place is in a very good and convenient location. The high ceiling makes the apartment feel very roomy but wish the bathroom is a little bigger. Many things are provided such as hangers, steamer, kettle, etc. Overall a very good stay.

Great location and very comfortable!
The apartment is in a very central location in Le Marais, close to the metro, shops and restaurants. The check-in experience with Ines was very easy and she was very attentive and available to communicate. My husband and I stayed there for 1 week, working remotely for a couple of days. The wifi worked very well and we had everything we needed to make our stay feel like home (e.g.- stocked kitchen, laundry, etc). Highly recommended!
