Extremely condescending attitude of the lady at reception when we arrived. We were welcomed by a dead rose in our room. Facility is very old and uncomfortable. We had to climb 12 steps to get on the elevator and 10 more steps to get to our room after getting off. The room was like an attic. Very dark, not enough lights. The only thing I liked was the view from the window. The black man who carried our luggage was nice too. The black lady serving breakfast was very moody. Sometimes she ignored me but sometimes she smiled at me. Very disappointing as a whole and don’t think will ever go back. Not at all worth the price.

Great hotel!
We loved staying at this small boutique hotel in Paris. The location was excellent with many restaurants in the area. Also the hotel restaurant was excellent! Tge room with sitting room was special and the bathroom adequate size. The only draw back I would say is that the staircase is narrow with very narrow stairs. There is an elevator but it does not go to every level.

Elegant, historic charm and great location!
The rooms were elegant yet warm, with historical charm and a wonderful view and had all the appointments including a nice bathtub. It was kept wonderfully clean. The staff was exceptionally helpful and spoke both English and French. They assisted us with everything from extra pillows ( they are big and fluffy ) One morning we wanted to grab some croissants and coffee at somewhere 'special' so they directed us on where to get them and where to sit and enjoy them nearby Luxembourg Gardens. If you want a charming, historic hotel that is in the heart of St Germain, the Relais Saint Germain is it. This is my new 'home base' in Paris!!

左岸の中心部にあり、観光もショッピングもどこに行くにも便利でした。隣のビストロと同経営の小さなホテルですが、インテリアも大変素敵でしたし、清潔さ・ホテルの方の親切で気持ちの良い対応、全て素晴らしかったです。隣のビストロもいつも混んでいますが、宿泊者は特別に席の予約をしてもらえます。とても美味しかったです!! エレベーターがびっくりするほど狭いのですが、荷物の上げ下ろしはホテルの方がしてくださるので問題ありません。

wonderful hotel
The hotel is a hidden gem on the left bank. The location is superb, with lots of eateries, cute little local shops nearby and it's a stone's throw away from a metro station and bus stop so very convenient if you are travelling to other places by public transport. While it is very close to the busy Boulevard St-Germain you actually don't hear the noise in your room. The room is spacious for Paris standards and bed comfortable. They even have firm pillows when I requested, which some other five star hotels in Europe aren't able to supply. Breakfast is included and is lovely. As a hotel guest if you dine at their popular Le Comptoir restaurant you get offered free wine and foie gras on toast, which is delicious.

I should first declare that I'm a big fan of yves the chef and owner of the hotel. My advice to him is to replace the lady/manager/front desk: UNPLEASANT, RUDE, INDIFFERENT. I severely cut my head against an unpolished unfinished column in my room, blood was gushing all over, she did not bother to say sorry or offer assistance. It wasn't until a very nice guy, to his horror, came to help me with a first aid kit. The lady attitude was: huh whatever, suck it up. In the room my allergies skyrocketed . Cute rooms but oozing with mold and allergies. I was surprised with the record number of elderlies in that place. I'm in my 50's and almost keeled over from coughing. Sorry, Yves. I still love your food.
