'My daughter and I stayed at The Cabot Lodge, on 4/14/26, for an overnight stay, before a college tour at Endicott College. I originally wanted to stay at the hotel on the grounds of Endicott College, but no rooms were available. In the end, I was glad that we didn’t get a room on the college grounds. We decided on The Cabot Lodge, since it was close to the college and appeared to be located in an area that had a lot to do (walkable area). There is no parking, but municipal parking was behind...

'The room was incredibly clean and very beautifully decorated. Lots of space and plenty of room to stay there for a few days. Easy room access by a code and the personnel was also very helpful and kind!'

'Our overall stay was fantastic! The location is perfect — you’re right in the middle of everything Salem has to offer, and everything is within a short walking distance. I’d definitely recommend paying for the parking; it made things much easier instead of having to search for a spot. 'This is one of our favorite places to stay anywhere in the US. Lovely inn! Each room has its own individual charm as no two rooms are alike. A bonus is the great continental breakfast! Make detours to Marblehead every time we come to Boston just so we can include a stay here.'

'My experience was pretty bad. They were playing music till one in the morning. You could hear the base in my room.All night my tub would not drain when I took a shower and then a lady knocked on my door at nine o'clock to ask me if I drove a certain car and I did not.And I told them what I drove never again'

'Looks nice on the outside but old on the inside. You can not make use of the gym. We were not told at checkin so we were there in vain. This is to outdated and to expensive. '

'Excellent location, easy self-checkin, responsive offsite staff. The room was cozy, clean, and included everything I needed. The only issue was noise - I could hear the people who checked-in above me from 5 pm till they finally went to bed a little after midnight. People seem oblivious to how easily impact noise travels in old NE construction. My room was also overlooking the parking lot and noise carried up easily from that.'

'Loved our visit. Greeted with warm cookies, and plenty of goodies in the fridge. Yummy coffee which can be had at any time and relaxing seating area. Across the street are a mainstay of hotels of all types, so the choices were many and diverse. Rooms well appointed, and the beds are some of the best sleep offered. Parking on site makes lifre grand too !!!'
