Goed hotel
Dit was de tweede keer dat we in dit hotel verbleven. Het ligt heel centraal om vijf minuten lopen van een groot winkelcentrum en op tien minuten lopen van het strand. Je krijgt handdoeken voor bij het zwembad dus extra handdoeken meenemen hoeft niet. Het personeel is vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Jammer genoeg vonden we het ontbijt minder goed dan eerst. Veel minder keuze. En de kamers zijn gehorig.

Let down at the last moment which was such a shame
Was a fantastic stay, but sadly it was let down at the last minute at check out. My partner dropped a mall bit of kebab meat on the sheet on the last night which left a small mark of chilli sauce the size of a 50p coin on the sheet. At check out they insisted on bringing the sheet to reception to show me and my partner the terrible deed along with every person who walked through the area on the way out of the hotel. They then spoke very loudly that it would need to be sent out for deep cleaning and tried to ask for 200B. Now as they only charge 50B per kilo for laundry I was not impressed at the charge. It was not about the £4:59 cost but the way they went about it considering we did not have room service for five days, I think putting a bit of vanish on the stain which offended them so much was not a big ask. I agreed to give them 100B and left the hotel as we had a taxi waiting for us. Let’s be realistic, we were in Patong in a three star hotel where there were a significant amount of single men with different lady friends each night and day (this did not offend us) and I am sure they have had much more to deal with than a little chilli sauce spillage.

It smelt and room very small with toilet and shower in a little room with no screen. Breakfast was terrible. I checked out after one night.

Good stay if on a budget
Good place to stay, only 5 minutes walk to Bangala Road and 10 minutes to the beach. Small complex so a bit more personal than the big resorts, though this time the staff weren’t as friendly as the staff there a few years ago. No longer a spa onsite but there are plenty just out on the street. Breakfast is blah, needs to improve, but the restaurant meals are good. Small pool but it’s lovely to relax in. Complex is very clean, but needs a good update. Wouldn’t pay full price, but worth it if you get a good discount.

Mehr Schein als Sein. Unbedingt Wegbleiben!
Das Hotel macht auf den Bildern mehr her als es in Wirklichkeit ist. Das Personal ist unfreundlich, absolut inkompetent und spricht sehr schlecht Englisch. Einzige Ausnahme ist die Mitarbeiterin mit dem treffenden Namen "Smile". Die Anlage ist an allen Ecken und Enden renovierungsbedürftig. Der Pool wird zu beliebigen Tageszeiten ohne Vorankündigung gesperrt und ist somit auch nicht wirklich nutzbar. Die Zimmer sind abgewohnt, die Federkern Matratze durchgelegen, und es gibt keinerlei Steckdosen im Raum! Das WLAN ist nur ein Witz und nicht funktionsfähig. Haben 4 Tage auf Handtücher im Zimmer gewartet, Beschwerden beim Management verhallen ungehört. Die ersten Tage war das Frühstücksbuffet komplett ungeniessbar da alles mit Ameisen verseucht war. Der Gipfel dann beim Auschecken, Rechnungen auf unser Zimmer die weder von uns verursacht noch unterschrieben waren. Angeblich hätten wir sogar nachts Besuch von einem Ladyboy gehabt und sollten dafür Besuchergebühr zahlen. Absolute Frechheit! Das liess sich nach viel Diskussion mit dem Personal erst unter Androhung die Polizei zu involvieren klären. Wir raten jedem von diesem Hotel ab, fürs gleiche Geld gibt es in der näheren Umgebung deutlich bessere, nettere und schönere Hotels!

The stay was good. The hotel looks nice, and had everything u need for a short stay, but found some ants in the toilet. We didn’t use any of the facilities, but the swimming pool looks good, saw some guests enjoying it during the day, however as we just need to spend the night for shower and sleep, so it is worth the money. The location is good, 12 mins walk to patong beach area. But after this we changed to a big resort in Rawai that we could actually use the facilities. So it wasn’t fair to compare.

Relaxing Stay
The Viridian resort was value for money, the staff were friendly and and couldn't be more accommodating. some areas need updating which from what i saw looks like they are slowly doing, it would be nice if the pool lounges had cushions on them because after a while they become uncomfortable, breakfast was O/K but mixing it up a bit would be good. All in all it was centrally located for our requirements easy walking distance to Bangla Rd, Jungcelyon shopping centre and the beach. My wife and myself would definitely stay there again

Lage ist perfekt. Zimmer dem Preis entsprechend, Pool okay, mehr nicht. Kein flexibles Personal. Frühstück so so La La,. Kein "Supervisor" der sich um die nötigen Dinge kümmert. Essen immer kalt, zuwenig Gedeck, Geschirr etc., Personal steht nur rum. Das Bett war schlecht viel zu weich und wenn sich einer umdreht schaukelt es den anderen. Wifi ist eine Katastrofe, viel zu schwach und man muss sich ständig neu einloggen. Vorsicht, sie probieren mit allem Geld zu machen!! Für das was einem geboten wird ist das Hotel zu teuer

Good locations
The hotel was good, it is a budget hotel. The location was brilliant right in the middle - room was clean and spacious. Bed was hard and single pillows but other than that all fine.

Our 12 nights was comfortable, safe & very friendly staff. Beautiful pool & gardens. Breakfast on offer was adequate & fresh. Room was comfy but suggest new pillows & bathroom door in need of repair as bottom panel had wood rot which ended up in shower.
