'The hotel is amazing, housed in a centuries old palace and an easy walk to the main fort. Our luxury suite facing part of the museum was just beautiful. The service was excellent, the room clean, the restaurant has an extraordinary view at night. Our only concern was the lovely pool was infested by pigeons and covered in scum. After a very hot day exploring Jaisalmer that was disappointing. But it will be a lovely memory. '

'The Marina Mahal is a great value option close to the centre of Jaisalmer. Akbar and Marina are a delightful Indian/New Zealand couple who are extremely hospitable and who do everything to make your stay memorable. They can arrange a brilliant trip into the desert. The vegetarian food in the rooftop restaurant is excellent and the views are stunning. Rooms are comfortable with AC, reliable hot water and free WiFi and the whole place exudes local atmosphere. Highly recommended!'

'Hotel fifu is een zeer goed hotel. De kamers zijn kleurrijk ingericht, met foto's aan de muur en zitjes bij de ramen. De airco werkt prima, de douche is warm en het bed slaapt goed. Het dakterras, waar het ontbijt geserveerd wordt, heeft dezelde soort zitjes. Het uitzicht over het fort is adembenemend. Wat ons het meest bij zal blijven is de vriendelijkheid van meneer fifu en al zijn personeel. Nergens in india zijn we zulke aardige mensen tegengekomen. Ze streven er ecnt naar het hun gasten...

'The hotel has been open for +10 years and is currently expanding. The design of the hotel is on three levels, with quiet, shady, cool corners as well as sunny rooftop dinning areas. The dining areas have great views of the Jaisalmer Fort, which is a located two hundred metres away. The craftsmanship of the lobby and rooms is excellent. 'Loved my stay at here—completely overdelivered for the price. New property, beautifully maintained. Fantastic location, a 5 minute walk from the fort entrance. Gorgeous rooftop area with the best views in town. Lovely, attentive staff. Helped me upgrade easily when a room became available. They don’t have a traditional restaurant, but the food they had was very good. Only quibble was that the pool wasn’t quite clean enough to swim in. Otherwise, great stay.'
