'We thoroughly enjoyed our time in South Haven. This 1 bedroom cottage was perfect and the cheese and wine upon arrival were much appreciated! My only negative feedback is the couch is a little dated and uncomfortable but everything else was amazing! Super easy access to the beach with all the necessary beach equipment provided. Loved that we had access to laundry and that our dog could stay with us as well. We were permitted to use the main house’s front porch which was nice since no one was in...

'We loved our stay at the “lake house”! It was a perfect location and offered us the ability to enjoy the quiet lake but also close enough to get into town and Lake Michigan. The kitchen was beautifully updated and had a gorgeous view of the lake from the big windows. My kids loved fishing off the dock and finding little turtles. We will definitely be back again! '

'The cottage was really cute and clean. Short drive to a beautiful beach. The location was perfect for exploring St. Joseph and South Haven. The owner was very quick to answer questions and very friendly. Some of the reviews mentioned the shower being small but to me it was a cottage shower that served it's purpose I have no complaints. I would definitely stay here again. '

'If you have a large family and want to do a quick weekend vacation this house is amazing. The pool was perfect for the kids and even us adults getting to sit on the deck. The host was so great with responses when I had a question. Aside from running short on towels this house was perfect with so much more sleeping areas and fun lofts to sleep in for the kids. 'I think a lot of the negative reviews are unwarranted. It was clean and had plenty of room for the 6 of us (plus dogs). The house is old and you need to use the window AC units, but it was fine and stayed cool all day. The prices are 1/2 that of other properties in the area. The house is a few minutes away from the beach. It is a duplex, but we never had an issue with the neighbors. The only bathroom is on the top level and up a flight of steep steps. It may not good for elderly people or people...

'Check in was simple and easy. Door lock is a bit touchy to learn but they provide easy details. Place was well sorted. Only one shower was a bit of a challenge but what was there was nice. They thought of ALOT of nice little touches like laundry soap, ice, coffee, wine, and more you name it.'

'We had the best family vacation at the Parkside Beach House!!! Julia was always quick to respond so check-in went smoothly. We made a lot of memories in the kitchen as we cooked and ate together. The only thing that we did not find was a crockpot but there were so many other dishes, pots and pans that we no longer needed one.The house was as spacious as described and comfortably fit all of our family's ages.
