'The property is located in a beautiful forested area. Martha, the owner, was an outstanding hostess. She was friendly and very helpful. The home cooked breakfasts were well prepared and delicious. The only issue we had was the GPS took us to the property through a back route that was longer and over gravel road. '

'We had a great one night stay. I got caught up in a wave down by the beach and was soaked from head to toe. The hosts insisted on washing and drying all of my clothes and left them by our room while we went and enjoyed the area. The room was very comfortable, great bed and wonderful hosts.'

'We had the best stay at this house! It was so welcoming and cozy. When we got there, music was on for us, a basket of snacks on the counter and a bottle of wine. We've never had that anywhere else we've stayed. Shelly and her husband were just the best!! It was my husbands birthday and she made him his favorite cake. Shelly was always available to answer questions. We loved having the deer visit every day and feeding them graham crackers. A first! We were sad to leave. Wonderful house. 💗'

'We really enjoyed our stay. The house was very clean and comfortable. A good nights sleep is so important on vacation and all the beds were very comfy. We enjoyed a week of quilting, shopping at a great quilt shop in Susanville, visiting breathtaking Mt Lassen Park and Burney Falls. We hope to return next year to explore more of the area.'

'Good centralized location for visiting family in the area. Had a few issues however, could have used a note on how to operate the thermostat, had to go online to find the operating instructions. Toilet in the back bathroom would not flush completely, rendering it unusable. Internet connection was good and easy to access.'

'The property was nicely appointed with comfortable beds, tv, games, etc. Plenty of dishes and towels. Because of its shape ad location the cabin tends to be a little dark. The last day there was a problem with power in the living room. (no lights at all) The directions weren't as specific or accurate as we needed to find the place before dark. I would suggest an earlier check during December at least so one can find the place and get inside before dark.'

'1951 log home with huge fireplace, woodstove, hot tub and sauna. Beautiful views. Great location near Lassen Volcanic National Park. Remember to gas up and bring food. Only on country store nearby with limited options. Only a couple of restaurants too although I'm sure there are more options in season. Checkin is at Noon which gives you most of the day to get settled. Brandon lives nearby and makes sure everything is ready for your arrival. No wifi and limited cell service so you are truly off...
