'Wonderful cottage, a perfect size for our family of 4. The accommodation is on a working farm but was quiet throughout with lovely gardens. Alton Towers was a short drive away as well as sports for hiking / nature. '

'The staff and the breakfast were amazing however the rooms have no shampoo (body wash is not going to do it for me), no lotion, no tissues and no phone. No phone makes it extremely difficult for overseas visitors to contact reception. Even the charming lady on reception who confirmed that these amenities were not offered in the hotel states that they were a budget hotel ‘but maybe not - we are quite expensive’. '

'This was honestly one of the worst hotel experiences I've had. The place looks neglected from the moment you arrive, the parking area was full of rubbish and broken items and generally felt unsafe. Inside things didn't improve. The room had clearly not been properly cleaned or updated in years. the ventilation fan was covered in dust and grime, and the walls had marks and stains all over them. Everything felt worn out and it generally made the room feel unhygienic and uncomfortable to stay in. I...

'Property was clean. Not as stated entire property. Shared facilities. Bathroom via the kitchen on ground floor had child. Did not feel we could relax here as thought we had entire apartment. Outside next to little shop. Traffic island outside meant couldnt park outside and single line. Area around property made us feel unsafe- wasnt the best.'

'I booked two rooms as a last minute stay. Immediately on bookimg I had two phone calls that I missed as I was in my way to the accommodation. I then received a text message to tell me they could not accommodate my booking and to cancel. I was adviced by Expedia not to cancel as this would be against the cancellation policy - I am still trying to get a refund and will probably have to esculate the process'

It’s extremely dated, the heating was an old electric heater and didn’t really heat the room well, I was freezing and had to put layers on for bed because the duvet was very thin too. The room must have had a dog in previously, I had a really bad allergy reaction my eyes and nose were streaming and when I put my leggings on I had dog hairs all over them. The bathroom was nice but had a huge stain in the sink and some of the pipe boxing was falling off. The food...

'Friendly staff, room fantastic, very clean comfortable, nice shower room excellent views, great meals staff very good nothing to much, fantastic breakfast great selection of products. Fantastic hot tubs right temperature very relaxing. Fantastic value for money. I will ne definitely back.'
