'The front desk clerk was friendly and accommodating, and the superior queen room was very comfortable, with cozy, comfy beds and cork floors. Also, I thought the view from the room was really beautiful, overlooking the picturesque town. There's a great breakfast place, Howard's Station, right across the street, and we enjoyed their smoothies, pancakes, and scrambles both days we were there. 'Comfy beds made for a delightful start! The pool, adorned with inviting chaise lounges, offered a serene escape accompanied by the soothing sounds of chirping birds. 'We loved our stay at this well appointed cozy beautiful hotel! The food was great (I had awesome schnitzel) the room was very pretty, and the service was excellent. I’m fairly picky and was delighted to be impressed!!! We also thoroughly enjoyed the location. It was just a stairway down to the river and we could walk to the redwood forest for hiking. 'This is a very old property that's been nicely updated. It's a great location walkable to all of downtown Guernville. The rooms are large and beds are comfy. On the downside, you definitely hear your neighbors walking around, talking, toilets flushing and showers running. It wasn't bad enough for me not to stay there again. It's just an old building.
