'We loved the lodge. Very clean, very friendly staff, beautiful setting, great restaurant onsite, loved the heated pool and hot tub. If I was to suggest an add, it would be 'moderate or easy' hiking trails leading out right from the lodge to really explore the grounds in a planned, safe, way. There is a lot of area to discover and really the only option you have is to walk or ride bike all the way to the beach. '

'Very pleased with our 2 night stay. Very comfortable room with a lovely view of Bodega Bay. Housekeeping staff were very attentive. The pool, hot tub and sauna are a huge plus. As others have mentioned, the continental breakfast is basic but does the trick. Would be nice if they offered just muffins, boiled eggs and coffee and tea in the main office rather than a whole sit down affair across the highway. Other than that, very pleased and will return.'

'We arrived after 10 pm at the lodge. The fire pit was so inviting and added to the peacefulness of the grounds. The next morning, we hiked around the beautiful trails and took many pictures of Lake Tomales. Very friendly staff who suggested other points of interests before we headed to San Francisco. A writer’s haven! The rooms were decorated so nicely and everything was clean. Wound go back and highly recommend '
