'We enjoyed the cozy atmosphere of the Villas. The pool was a wonderful place to relax. The staff was very friendly and ready to meet our needs. We have been here several times and will return again!'

'Going back in time!! Very friendly staff. A great place to stay! Not the modern stuff, no TV at the room! WiFi is ok. Just one hour away from SF. And an whole other world! Like going back to the 60ies!!'

'Reasonable size room for a single bedroom. Had a pizza box and left over food in the fridge. A call to the office brought a man to remove the food but left a small food smear on the shelf inside. Was fairly quiet to be so close to the freeway. AC was not needed as it was a mild evening. Parking was sufficient for the occupants.Staff was courteous although reluctant to send someone out to fix the fridge problem (it was 9:30 at night) but did send him.'

'Not a “Five Star Resort” but earned 5 stars from me. Counter staff were friendly and helpful, rooms were basic but very clean and cozy. Great views, pool was nice. Didn’t try the restaurant onsite but locals recommended it. Just beware, if you’re staying during the week, almost all local restaurants close by 8pm, so factor that into your day plans. Great easy access to Point Reyes Park'

'Good stay when I needed some rest on my way home from a trip. The guy behind the desk was super friendly and helpful. Pet friendly, no real area to potty your pup.... so plan to be taking your pet for walks. But a nice, super basic yet comfortable place. I couldnt figure out working the tv for the life of me, but you can always call the front desk during their working hours! Served it's purpose for my dog and I on our way up the coast.'

'The Inn is located in the center of Occidental. The Inn is older, which is part of its charm; however, the room we stayed in had a very strong damp smell, which was not inviting. We were on the first floor, and it felt like the family above, with their small children, was in the same room. Every step and door closure you could hear. There were missing slats on the window blinds, allowing light from the patio in. The one attendant, JP, was extremely helpful and was the highlight of the stay....
