'From the time of booking the property about a month & a half ago - the process was easy and responsive communication from the host.I am a big believer in communication.Parking is tricky - we had two vehicles and one of those vehicles was a pickup truck - we fit but it was tight.Be prepared for stairs - the area is well lit.I recommend the spot as it was clean and right on the water.'

'This was exactly what we needed after a week of camping on our road trip - this place is so lovely, from the cabin itself (inside and out), to the big trees surrounding it, the pathway through the forest, the delicious breakfast and coffee, and of course the most relaxing bath/shower outside. Tara was so welcoming and was helpful highlighting spots around the island. Would highly recommend and we hope to visit again soon! '

The space is convenient t to all locations especially the town of Ganges and Long Harbpur. Salt Spring Cidery just across the street. Beds were comfortable as well as pullout. Would stay again. '

'The Bird House is in excellent condition with high quality finishes. It is quiet and feels like a deep woods getaway despite being a short drive to anything and everything. We were very comfortable here and were able to mix work, relaxation and exploration of the island. We watched the sunset from Vesuvius Beach every night!'
