'The area is remote which we knew going in. The property is nicely updated. The room was cold but space heaters help. My kids enjoyed exploring the back of the property. '

'Nice big well stocked home with a beautiful view, lake access and private dock. We spent the weekend fishing and paddling around the lake, catching some afternoon games, bbqing steaks, and telling tall tales on the big deck at the end of the day. Jerry and Connie were great hosts and easy to work with.'

'We stayed 2 nights. Arrived in a snow flurry. The host had heated the place so it was warm and cozy. It is a small apartment above Ron Martin realty. Dianne is the host and is the most kind accommodating person you could hope for. The place has a cabin feel with a living room, 2 bedrooms, a small efficiency kitchen area and a large bath. There are TVs in each bedroom and the living area. the living area has 2 couches and an easy chair. We definitely will stay here again given the opportunity.'

'This is the first home that we have ever come back to for a second trip. The owners are excellent and continue to improve on the property which we thought was already great to begin with. This is most likely the best vacation rental for a smaller group in the peninsula at Lake Almanor.'
