Evening meal and breakfast both excellent, staff were very friendly and room was clean. Garden room has a bath only and as it’s in the eves, you can only crouch to have a shower, don’t stand up quick and hit your head like I did! 'A beautiful remote property, situated in the countryside. 10 minutes walk to a lovely, award winning pub with stunning food and friendly staff. 15-20 minutes drive to the nearest supermarket. The owners of this property, who live next door, were very welcoming and friendly. They've thought of everything, including a welcome pack of milk, bread and butter. There were a few other thoughtful treats but i wont spoil the surprise. Cleanliness of the cottage is definitely a 10/10. Cant fault...

'A truly exceptional find this little gem of a pub hotel in a beautiful location in Norfolk. Stayed in a cabin and it was lovely, clean and well presented, the bed was very comfortable and bathroom well appointed. Staff were very friendly and helpful, the breakfast options were very good we had the full breakfast which was excellent, the evening meal was delicious, the pies are out of this world. Can’t fault this pub and can’t recommend it enough. Will definitely stay there again. '

'We had a lovely stay. The facilities and staff are all brilliant. The pool and lake was a bit too cold for us in October but will be back in the summer. We had lots of little walks, family game time and enjoyed the boat in the lake. Our dog was in heaven swimming every day!'

'I am utterly disgusted that this place is even still open, arrived at 7:50pm and told we had to find food elsewhere as kitchen shuts at 8pm, then was told they were not aware we had a room booked and she would have to call owner to confirm! Said she would call us back while we found something to eat as his phone went to voicemail!!!!! We then get a call to say yes they have made a room up! I then asked if they were aware we had a full English breakfast the next morning… again no they didn’t!!...

'This is a delightful cottage for 1 or 2 people. Sofas and bed are comfortable; shower room stylish with a great sized shower. And with lovely underfloor heating toes were toastie all weekend. I was able to entertain friends in a relaxed informal environment which was great.'

'Lekker gegeten en voelden ons zeer welkom in deze b en b annex pub. Het is een gehucht maar de lokale bevolking weet het te vinden. S avonds gezellige band. Oude gastheer die nog heerlijke scrambled eggs kan maken. Enorme schone en typisch engelse family kamer. Mocht je in de buurt zijn en een slaapplaats nidig hebben, doen!'

'The converted windmill is very nice looking and well fitted out. Car parking is easy in the private car park. The rooms are lovely and the breakfast well cooked and substantial. The staff are excellent - very helpful and attentive, with good local advice.'
