Arwana Perhentian Eco & Beach Resort

"Our family consist of my wife and me, and our three children aged 7, 5 and 1. We had a wonderful stay at Arwana. The location is fantastic! You are right on the beach, which is absolutely lovely. You can sit on the beach directly in front of the hotel, which is perfectly fine, but my tip is to walk about 600 metres further down the beach to the other side. When I went snorkelling there during high tide, I encountered sharks and a sea turtle. It was absolutely amazing! The hotel also has a lovely swimming pool. It is well maintained and cleaned every day. The rooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable. However, the bathroom in our room was not clean enough for a hotel in this price range. This really needs to be improved if the hotel wants to raise its overall rating again. The hotel clearly has some issues with humidity, and I have the impression that this is partly caused by the choice of materials used in the bathrooms, as well as insufficient ventilation. Management really needs to address this issue, because if it is left unresolved, I believe it could seriously affect the hotel in the long run. The staff clearly make an effort to provide good service to their guests. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The buffets are extensive and delicious, both at breakfast and during the evening BBQ buffet. All in all, this is a beautiful place to stay and Arwana is a lovely hotel. We really enjoyed our time there and would be happy to return."

"In dit geweldige hotel 4 nachten verbleven. Ik kan wel zeggen dat dit tot nu het beste hotel is waar ik verbleven ben. De locatie is perfect gelegen. Met 2 super mooie strandjes waar je zo vanaf het strand de prachtige vissen kunt zien, en zelfs mini haaitjes en roggen. De service en het personeel is zo goed en vriendelijk niets is teveel. De kamers liggen tegen een helling, maar je hoeft niet te lopen, er rijden golfkarretjes rond die je komen ophalen en wegbrengen op verzoek. De kamers zijn geweldig, heel mooi en compleet. Een grote badkamer met bad en douche. Heerlijk bed! Er is een koelkast, nespresso apparaat (iedere dag wordt de koffie e.d. weer aangevuld), drinkwaterautomaat (warm/koud), wekker, strijkijzer+plank, kluis, badjassen en slippers. Ook heerlijke douchegel, shampoo en conditioner in de badkamer."

"Wij verbleven 4 nachten alles wat je nodig heb kamer badkamer en een goed bed, personeel heel behulpzaam, je zit op de Perhentian eilanden je bent altijd buiten op het strand. Wij vonden het als stel goed."
