'A comfortable stay with really good food! The 2 bedroom suites are great when you’re traveling with family, as there is a large living area to get together.
The only problem we encountered was with extremely loud music coming from an adjoining property. I guess there was very little our hotel could do about that!'

'A beautiful property that is 160 years old staffed by lovely people. Everyone was helpful - especially with local attractions and booking boat tours. Breakfast was good.
The pool is good but could use a clean and currently there are no loungers - due to be replaced soon. The owners are building a restaurant on site which will be a great addition.'

'Absolutely phenomenal property. There is a lot to do from fishing and kayaking to pottery and cultural programs. The staff too was exceptional. I regret not getting staff members names as they were very thoughtful and helpful. Highly recommend spending a few days at this resort.'

'This property was lovely and we especially enjoyed taking the canoes through the waterway for 7 minutes to the beach. The spa was wonderful and the restaurant on the property is excellent. Fabulous breakfast buffet, and they will make eggs for you. Two nights was not enough here!'

'A fantastic spot from which to explore the Kerala backwaters. The hotel organised a half-day Sikkara boat tour and for the remainder of our (too short) stay we relaxed by the pool and dined on the beach. Recommended!'

The rooms are very modern and clean.
There was a total of 7 rooms on board, so it was good to mix and chat to the other guests.
The crew on the houseboat were wonderful, very friendly and helpful. Always willing and happy to help.
Food was excellent, but keep in mind there is no alcohol, as seems to be case everywhere in Kerala.
We will happily come back again.'
