'Someone was waiting for us at the train station to take us to Rupa. That was nice because the place is not easy to find. Also someone carried the luggage which was much appreciated while it's a very steep climb to the hotel. Rooms are nicely decorated and staff is very helpfull and speak good english. So a perfect place to stay. Only negative I can say is that the showers where not hot but that is realy the only thing. '

'Vanaf het station Ollantantambo gelopen, hetgeen door het zoeken niet direct heel eenvoudig was. Route is echter achteraf gemakkelijk. Loopinstructies zouden handig zijn geweest. Kwartier lopen vanaf station. Guesthouse zelf heel vriendelijk. Eenvoudige kamer, maar alles is aanezig en is schoon. Prima ontbijt met een glimlach. Prachtig gelegen in het oude centrum en met direct uitzicht op de oude Inca omgeving. Stadje is erg leuk. Aanbeveling om hier te verblijven voor bijv. 2 nachten. Vervoer...

'The hotel itself was great, but we had a hiccup with the management as they insisted that we pay for the room after we showed them the receipt that we already paid with Expedia. As soon as we got Expedia involved, they reimbursed us, but it was frustrating to deal with while tired from traveling. Other than that, the hotel itself was lovely with hot water in the shower a lovely breakfast and convenient location.'

'Pros: it was very clean and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was simple but nice with the lady cooking us fresh eggs. Cons: they will charge you in local currency and they use a very bad exchange rate which they say is used in the town. If possible pay online in advance or maybe take usd with you and pay in cash when you arrive. The bathroom door could not open all the way because there was no space. The electrical sockets are very sensitive so pay attention when charging devices. Bedding...
