'Terrible! Worst experience in a hotel ever! The outside building and front look nice but it’s a facade. Our room was on the backside, you have to pass a trash area and an ugly fence to get there, feels like you are put behind in a shed somewhere. The stairs up to the room were dirty and worn out. A dirty cleaning towel lying next to our door. The whole room was worn out, paint coming of etc. The bathroom so small you couldn t use the sink when you had the door open. The shower was broken,...

'We had a lovely weekend at Arden House. Lucie organised everything with so much attention to detail and care that being there felt like a cosy home. We even received a welcome card and chocolate Easter eggs every time the room was cleaned. The location was also great, just a five-minute walk from the castle. The rooms were spotlessly clean. I would highly recommend staying there!'

'Unfortunately the room requested was not available as we had our small dog with us so were allocated a dog friendly room which was fine but it only had a 4’6 bed which really is not expected these days. Following the downgrading of the room by the hotel and being advised that the room requested would be cheaper. The new price unfortunately was not honoured despite numerous requests for a refund so overall not the best experience.'

Alleen bier te krijgen en de bardames waren zeer onverschillig en ongeinteresseerd en vroegen tot 3 keer toe naar ID van de kinderen als ze een biertje bestelden. 'The location is great the bathroom to our room was up some stairs from the bedroom the door opened out towards the stairs covering the handrail so could be a problem for some coming down the stairs from the bathroom. The bedroom was also up flights of stairs The mattress needs to go in the bin now! 'We had a wonderful stay at Saddlers :). Milky is a wonderfully attentive host. Attended to our every need & was very knowledgeable about local restaurants and places of interest too. We had a very relaxing stay.'
