'The cabin was exactly as pictured. Clean, ready to go. As a heads up, you do share the stairs down to the docks with the twin cabin that is next to you. Not a big deal for us at all. We were able to pull our boat up to the dock (launch is on Gunlock lake and you have a little, shallow, channel you'll need to go through to get to Shishebogama), which was super nice..'

'This little cabin was perfect for our trip. The beds were cozy and comfy me and my husband both slept great. It’s right on a small lake where we kayaked. We plan to be back with the kids. Also the campground itself was the most peaceful campground we’ve ever been to, we had the windows open the whole time and never heard a peep from the neighbors. '

'Large cabin, very clean and well stocked. Secluded location and privacy was just what we were looking for. Loved the screened in porch, fire pit, decor, and comfort of the property. 'We had a family reunion up in northern Wisconsin and i needed a place that was close to my uncles place but also allowed dogs and this place was perfect! 'A perfect little getaway. Nestled in the woods on a lake this cabin is the definition of rest and relaxation. Very calm and quiet. My only disappointment was that I was hoping to see and hear the loons, but there were none to be see or heard when I was there, Aug 14-16, 2025.The cabin is very clean!! The beds are very comfortable! Just so very peaceful! Pretty much had everything you could need for a comfortable stay. If you want to go get some groceries… I recommend going down the road a bit...

'The weather could not have been much worse for us BUT in spite of that, we had a really great trip and definitely plan to come back! 'It was perfect for what we were looking for. Not too far from town- Boulder Junction is a very cute/nice town. The cabin itself was clean and the screened in patio was definitely a nice addition. There is great variety of DVDs but I did not see any games, I would suggest guests bring some games for a rainy day. Overall, it was a very nice stay. '

'Our stay was perfect! For others browsing reviews, there is a hair dryer, toaster and some leftover spices, coffee, filters etc. The private boat ramp was SO nice!! Our family of 5 was able to spread out in each bed and not share. We had a rain day so we did a puzzle that was there. The kiddos played a board game. The only thing I thought of that I had forgotten was a deck of cards. We will plan a trip back to the cabin when we go back North!! Thank you!!!'
